Hello, I'm wondering how I can get each player's IP address when they join one of my game's servers. I know this is possible using NetworkServer, however, I don't know how to get the players belonging to their corresponding IP addresses. I'd greatly appreciate if someone could help me out.
I'd want the results stored in a table called PlayersIPList.
This is pretty much how the table should behave (all the below IPs are obviously fake):
Player1's IP = 000.123.456.789 Player2's IP = 123.000.456.789 Player3's IP = 123.456.000.789 Player4's IP = 123.456.789.000
PlayersIPList = {} -- for Loop (Each Player or IP Address in NetworkServer) -- Store Player Names and IP Addresses in PlayersIPList table --[[ EXAMPLE: PlayersIPList[1] = game.Players[Player].Name PlayersIPList["IP"..1] = (GET PLAYER'S IP via NetworkServer) --]]
==================== print(PlayersIPList[1]) > Player1 print(PlayersIPList["IP"..1]) > 000.123.456.789
print(PlayersIPList[2]) > Player 2 print(PlayersIPList["IP"..2]) > 123.000.456.789
print(PlayersIPList[3]) > Player 3 print(PlayersIPList["IP"..3]) > 123.456.000.789
print(PlayersIPList[4]) > Player 4 print(PlayersIPList["IP"..4]) > 123.456.789.000

If this is successful, I will release an ANTI-VPN / PROXY script that pairs up with this ;) • The answer to a math question is the question itself. Proof: 9+10 = 9+10 - Correct ✔ |

I have seen working IP ban scripts here and there, so I don't understand why this is impossible... • The answer to a math question is the question itself. Proof: 9+10 = 9+10 - Correct ✔ |

| You haven't seen any working ip ban scripts made with roblox lua. Maybe regular lua, but roblox doesn't let you get ips |

Yes, I have seen working IP Ban scripts made with Roblox LUA, not Regular LUA. Roblox does let you get IPs, but not easily. Here's a script that allows you to get the IP address of the joining player:
game.ChildAdded:connect(function(child) if child:IsA("NetworkServer") then child.IncomingConnection:connect(function(IP, replicator) Instance.new("StringValue", workspace).Name = IP print(IP) end) end)

It's either a working script, or I will implement this IP script into a Single-Player server, as there's only one single IP address collected, which obviously belongs to the only Player in the server.

| Lol, roblox is one of the companies that takes hiding and encrypting IP's into strong detail. Trust me you can't through studio and by the time it would take you to crack into it and get them, roblox would have of patched it. |

I guess I should focus on making more anti-exploit scripts... There's way too many exploiting idiots out there to make an unprotected game...

Yes, I do know how to script. However, I just grabbed that script from a random place, with people saying it works... • The answer to a math question is the question itself. Proof: 9+10 = 9+10 - Correct ✔ |

No, Filtering Enabled is not enough, unfortunately. People can still locally exploit themselves or "their copy" of the Workspace.
Besides, I have actually found that some exploits still work with FilteringEnabled on. • The answer to a math question is the question itself. Proof: 9+10 = 9+10 - Correct ✔ |

What if Roblox masked the players IPs but still showed a unique IP for every players location? This way you could IP ban players without knowing their real IP ??? |

yes but with playerid you can hop onto your alt and rejoin the game and perform your hacks again im talking about your real ip except it's masked under something so that nobody can see, however, the developer can still use it to ip ban somebody |
