Always crashes me with this script when I test it
This is the main part of the code.
function Update_Items() local state = false local counted = 0 local totalCounted = 0 for i,v in pairs(counts) do local Amount = GetItemCount(v.itemset.StringName.Value) if Amount < v.maxCount then for Number = 1,v.maxCount - Amount do local newInstance = CreateItem(v) newInstance.Parent = game.Workspace v.count = 0 SpawnItem(newInstance,0,0,0,0,0,0) wait() end else counted = counted + 1 end totalCounted = totalCounted + 1 end if counted == totalCounted then state = true end return state end
Update_Items() --Initial game load
game.Workspace.ChildRemoved:connect(function() Update_Items() end) |

What were you expecting from a feature in beta stage? :P

You're probably doing something wrong, try disabling certain parts to find out what is crashing it, and get a solid simple reproduction of the bug so you can report it instead of complaining.

It worked before if I used a while loop instead of ChildRemoved. That's all I know of.

Woah! It's not just team create, but my other project too. It's a faulty roblox bug. :l

Then find the bug, and make a simple repro for me to report.

i doubt it sharp, this happened a lot in the past, it all went away on it's own. also my friend said his studio was crashing when we were in team create, idk if it was the script or not, the same crashing was happening in my other project with no team create and that script wasn't in the other game.

I have a monster spec'd PC and Roblox still crashes for me when the thread get's overloaded by some code. IT could be the code or it could be the fact that team create is still in beta and it's extremely buggy like most things in beta. I dont see why script execution would be any different in team create than in regular studio though. Either way it's one of the two. Run the code in normal studio mode, if it crashes, then you know it's the code.

Good idea Dev! We'll try that. I was just trying to efficienize my script because using a while loop, like running unnecessary code every 1/30 seconds consumes memory. I was trying to bring it down by using a ChildRemoved event instead. Which, for some reason, crashes the game...
