According to Spotify, Heroes by Bowie is his most listened to song, though his most popular song is probably Space Oddity.
I mean it kind of bothers me and it kind of doesn't. It's a great way to introduce people to this great artist, but honestly his catalog is so diverse that it doesn't really show all of Bowie's artistic talent, just a sample of it.
and Heroes is an amazing song |

| for death cab for cutie, i'm going to guess it's probably 'i will follow you into the dark' - which isn't really a bad song, per se, but it's definitely not their best. it's one of the weakest songs on plans, though. |

It depends, really.
Poker Face is the most popular in regards to sales, but I'd say Bad Romance is just as well known, has had far more impact on her career, and is a distinct Gaga song. I love Poker Face/the Fame era but to be honest, any other pop girl could've sang Poker Face and it would have worked. Bad Romance has a distinct Gaga feel to it, and I don't think it would've had nearly as much success/impact if Katy Perry or Rihanna or someone sang it.
I guess I sort of wish Bad Romance went #1 (blocked by Empire State of Mind, yes I'm still bitter), because it did sell incredibly well. I just feel like if you're only looking in terms of sales, Poker Face being the most popular doesn't do Gaga any justice because it's 'just another massive pop song that anyone could've sung', whereas, if it were Bad Romance it would give more of an idea as to who Gaga is as an artist.
Johnny Hobo and the Freight Trains would have to probably be Whis.key is My Kind of Lullaby, which is a great song, but I personally think Church Hymn for the Condemned is absolutely amazing.
The Front Bottoms is Twin Size Mattress, and I'm pretty sure it's an obligation for fans of TFB to hate that song for being a staple in poser-hipster culture. 'oMG i LuV the Frunt Bottums! do U kno TWIN SIZED MATRES!!?!??' |

Antestor's Rites of Death - It is a great song but I wouldn't consider it their absolute best. It doesn't bother me too much though because Antestor fans generally seem to go deeper than the two most popular songs.
I love Smells Like Teen Spirit, but it can be very aggravating sometimes. Nirvana is misrepresented and over advertised by posers that only know like two songs. That bothers me, because when somebody says they are into Nirvana, I can't tell if they only know like two songs or if they are actually into Nirvana.

Language 1: Intuition by The Contortionist
Now I love The Contortionist and with that said I dont have a favorite song or album because they are all so great but i dont see why this is their most popular song. Language was a popular album because it was able to cater to lots more people thanks to its use of clean vocals quite a bit more than previous releases. But this song is the first on the album and theres so much more that it leads up to-it dosnt have a ton of meat on it compared to what follows. |

i have two favorite artists
soundgarden: black hole sun
no it doesn't bother me, but it sounds different from all their other song styles.
tool: the pot
all of tool's songs are pretty intelligent and deep thinking with deep meanings (not about depression and emotions, really.)
so no it doesn't bother me, i like tool's ideas. |
