Welp, here's some examples to help you decide
Ruby: FileUtils.mv('/tmp/Script', '/opt/C:\Users\Documents\ReplicatedStorage') puts "Code Moved"
VisualBasic: ROBOCOPY C:\Users\Workspace\Script\:\ReplicatedStorage /E /MOVE /MIN:6144000 /MT:32 echo "Code Moved"
Batch: xcopy Script."C:\Users\Workspace\*.*" /S "E:\ReplicatedStorage\" echo "Code Moved"
rblx.Lua: game.Workspace.Script.Parent = game.ReplicatedStroage; print("Code Moved");
Java: Script.renameTo(Script("C:\Users\Documents\ReplicatedStorage")); System.out.println("Code Moved");
Python: shutil.copyfile('C:\Users\Documents\Workspace\Script', 'C:\Users\Documents\ReplicatedStorage') print("Code Moved")
Lua: static int lua_chDir(lua_State* L) { char *Workspace = (char *)lua_tostring(Script); #ifdef WIN32 int status = _chdir((const char*)ReplicatedStorage); print("Code Moved")
C++: bool Script(const char *Workspace, const char* ReplicatedStorage) { std::ifstream src(Workspace, std::ios::binary); std::ofstream dest(ReplicatedStorage, std::ios::binary); ReplicatedStorage << Workspace.rdbuf(); return Workspace && ReplicatedStorage; } int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { return Script(argv[1], argv[2]) ? 0 : 1; } std::cout << Code Moved << std::endl; |

| Your second "Lua" is def not Lua. Try C. |

| Most of it I just paraphrased from what I thought it would be based on what I learned about each language, but when you try to learn a lot of different languages within a small time frame, you tend to mix them up, ;P do excuse it |

I would say Python is a good starting language

I would say English but it seems like you know it quite well. German is similar, try that.
But seriously, C++ allows for the most opportunities in programming as it is a high level language, I'd recommend learning it.
Making a Lua math joke would be math.asin() |

"But seriously, C++ allows for the most opportunities in programming as it is a high level language, I'd recommend learning it." You're pretty dumb aren't ya.
Lua is a higher level language than C++, so is VB so is Python so is Java so is many other languages. |

| I'd suggest rblx.Lua, it's really the easiest of them all |

Thank god for Flux, the only voice of reason in this thread.
Ruby is awful
IDK VisualBasic, looks similar to Lua but for programming
Batch is NOT easy, at all
Roblox Lua would e what I recommend, because you can see immediate results. You can start writing useful scripts immediately
Ik the syntax os JS (Not Java), a lot like Lua but not as intuitive
Python is terrible to start out with
Never tried regular Lua
C++ is hard as ballz, start with C#

ROBLOX is a cool way to learn, you can make games and things that are actually fun way faster than any other langauge.
If you are completely new, I think python can teach you main concepts.

Python isn't great to start out with, as the white space counts, and there is not end, ) or }

| That old version of basic with the goto's is easy to learn. also the control flow is pretty similar to lower-level languages and to how most machines process the instructions |

Master C++ because its the highest in job demands. (for programming)

C++ Is harder tho... Get the hard stuff done then finish with the easier stuff... and it really depends on personal preference...

Considering Runescape switched from Java to C++ and now it looks a million times better and there's 90% less lag and it runs more smoothly, I'd say C++, also I started off with Python, it's not that bad Wolf.
If you want to learn Java, I suggest Greenfoot, now I hate Greenfoot with a passion, but it's a interactive IDE and makes writting Java games easy for noobies, it uses it's own version of Java (greenfoot.Java) in the same way ROBLOX has it's own version of Lua, their website even has a forum just like this one with a active community, I don't suggest you stay hooked on it, but using it to start learning Java is a good idea I believe.
OT: If you're wondering why I dislike Greenfoot so much, it's because while it is like Java, it really isn't, I kind of forced my gf into taking a computer science class and her teacher decided to teach greenfoot, I figured it would be just like Java and I could help her, but I was wrong, I knew a lot of Java and would always give her code to help her but it would never work, she ended up stressing out and I've since highly disliked it |

| Pretty sure runescape was rewritten in HTML5+JS a long time ago and hasn't been in java for a long time. |
