the 3 sports i think of in particular are aussie rules, nfl and ice hockey when it comes to this situation.
i think nfl maybe because of the players that die from brain trauma. haven't seen it much in the other two.
what do you guys think? |

IF PATHETIC WITH THESE RULE CHANGES TO 'protect' the players!
Its a contact sport, if you are going to play it you should be expected to risk a bit of safety! You dont have to play it if you dont like the extreme contact thats involved!
Thats like someone going to the UFC and wants to ear knee pads and elbow pads with a helmet! It makes no sense IMHO for the NFL and other contact sports to try to limit the amount of contact to 'protect' players.
IMHO |

So here is the solution to not having a very very very very slight chance of getting CTE.
DONT PLAY FOOTBALL! |

"very very very very slight chance" in the sense that 96% of deceased NFL players tested positive for CTE, right?

"very very very very slight chance of getting CTE."
considering 96% of retired NFL players that have been scanned have CTE, it's not a slight chance. It's almost a guarantee.

Young blood, i didnt know it was that high.
But if you dont want CTE just dont play football, hard hits are part of the game since it started practically. |

| I didn't say you can't get head injuries from other sports, I just don't think much change will come to other sports, whether that's the right thing to do it not |

hockey is changing because of it, more and more leagues are adapting hybrid icing to help reduce concussions from touch icing plays.
this is what touch icing caused: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUjqoJ1UGwM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgHN0Jh8Q0M
now with hybrid icing this happens: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lz3QaNxCW6I

you're kidding yourself if you think that there is a very very very slim chance of NFL players getting CTE
as a matter of fact, there's probably a decent amount of current players with CTE (there's no way to find that out until they die, though) |

um, what. so potentially dying from taking a knock to the head should just be apart of the game? okey dokey.

concussions will never end, their injuries sports wont end for along time, probably not until the end of the human race
