Yet I can't decide which one I want. I found two that are pretty good, but I'm kinda new to this gaming computer thing. Every computer I've owned before have just been casual computers that are actually sometimes made for work. I've owned an ASUS laptop before and it was awesome, my dad has one now. Yet my friend's ASUS had a flickering problem. I've had a Lenovo before, and so did my mom. We both loved it until it crashed. No wonder it crashed... it had Windows Vista...
Anyways, the two computers I'm looking at is the Lenovo Y700 and the ASUS ROG GL552.
Specs for Lenovo Y700:
-Intel Core i7-6700HQ 2.6 GHz Processor -16 GB DDR3L SDRAM -1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive -15.6-Inch Screen, NVIDIA GeForce 960M Graphics -Windows 10, 5-hour battery life -Price is $939.00
Fun fact about that Lenovo, it's cheaper to buy 16 GBs of RAM instead of 8 GBs of RAM... I couldn't see any other difference...
Specs for ASUS ROG GL552:
-Powerful 6th-generation Intel Core i7-6700HQ 2.6GHz. 16GB RAM; 1TB 7200RPM Storage. -15.6 inches Matte IPS FHD display. 1920 by 1080 resolution. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M gaming graphic card. -GameFirst III technology prioritizes the flow of the game data across your network. -Feature the latest USB3.1 Type-C port for more convenient connectivity options. -Removable panels for easy replacement or upgrade of SSD, Storage, and RAM. -Price is $988.00
I think the ASUS ROG GL552 is quad-core. But here's the thing, I'm $4 short on the ASUS. But I can't decide which one's better! I don't want to get a desktop since I'm only home on weekends. If I got a desktop, I wouldn't be able to work on my schoolwork until I got home. I simply prefer to have a laptop. Don't try to persuade me to get a desktop.
Which one should I get?

@romwom If you read the whole thing, you'd actually know why.
@guest999vsnoob Well, I know plenty about computers, but I don't really know what's best for performance and all. And with all the info, that's just me. I always have a lot of info on hand before I start asking questions.
I went with the ASUS ROG GL552. I found out it had a Solid State Drive. Which is what my macbook has right now. I would've gone with the lenovo if I found one that was in my price range with the same specs. My family has owned more ASUS laptops than Lenovo laptops. I miss the little stick thing in the middle of the keyboard... Thanks for helping, anyway!

| Mostly Roblox (Preferably on high graphics), The entire Half-life series, the Portal games, Battlefield 2, Warfare, And a few games from early 2000... It isn't much. But the reviews I found say it's a great starter gaming laptop. That's good enough for me. |
