If you guys have played it at some point in your life, Good job since that game was amazing.
If not. Basically you have to buy a church or something which is like the most expensive thing in the game so your king (who actually is pretty strong) can get a queen who does nothing except roam around until some enemy kills her so king gets a new queen.
The process then repeats until you get defeated or you defeat everyone else.

To game
In stronghold crusaders
There were assasins/ninja i can't remember exactly
Which could scale walls and towers and assassinate enemy king destroying then.
Beats getting catapults and ballistas then large armies xD |

I used to play CKII, but I moved on to EU4. Then I eventually stopped playing that.

I got to the point in Stronghold where people would stop playing against me online lol
I'd just spam 40 or so peasants and before they could build walls I'd send them all to fight their lord
By the time they realize what had happened it was too late and my mob of peasants killed their lord
Best game 10/10 IGN
CK2 is pretty fun too

kind of meant what would be further above but yeah sorry lol
anyway yeah C&C usually employs co-op modes, only that it's divided in three different storylines:
>Red Alert (1,2,3) which are basically on a modern-futuristic era >Generals (Generals, Zero Hour) which are modern >Tiberium (all of them but the previous) which are futuristic
it does use co op on multiplayer against enemies and i think that in Red Alert 3 you can actually do campaign missions with your friends.
Red Alert 3 also goes on sale for 2$ on Steam during sales, so watch out for it. the expansion for it, Uprising, is only on origin though. |

Crusader Kings II is what you call a "grand strategy." It's basically a medieval version of Victoria II/Europa Universalis IV. You pick a King and try to amass prestige and piety by leading a kingdom full of a bunch of silly geese.

I guess you could also say that it's like a medieval version of Hearts of Iron.h

@lion
medieval rts, medieval rts...
Well, if by medieval you don't mean the precise time period between the 5th Century and the 15th, and you mean swords and such, try Total War. In fact I think they do have a title or two in that period.
I assume you've played Age of Empires, but if you haven't go ahead. |
