Don't believe what the critics say about Batman V Superman. I have seen the movie, and I would personally give it a 7.5/10.
Just keep in mind that Rotten Tomatoes gave Sharknado an 82% rating. They're biased towards DC Movies. |

Honestly, how did Avengers 2 score higher than Batman V Superman? Same with Thor 2, or Iron Man 3 and 2, or Captain America: The First Avenger.
Batman V Superman gave me more enjoyment in watching than all of those films combined, and even though I watched all the trailers, it still surprised me a lot of times.

| I'm with you there, I didn't like Avengers 2 at all. I actually feel asleep in the theater. But I liked Iron Man 2 and 3. And I'm seeing that new movie on Saturday. |

just watched it
- a few inconsistencies from the canonical lore of DC (but they change that every week, so i wouldn't worry)
- some funky dream sequences which didn't really add much to the plot apart from set up the next movie(s)
- quite loud ( but i was next to the speaker)
- otherwise, a fine movie. much better all than the marvel drivel being pumped out every month
probably a solid 8/10. |

"much better all than the marvel drivel being pumped out every month"
Now I'm much more of a fan of DC when it comes to the whole Marvel vs DC thing, but I do have to say that Deadpool is an amazing film and that they do have a lot of great films like Iron Man 2
also Civil War looks amazing and I hope that I'll enjoy it
other than that, I'm really looking forward to Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad (more excited for Suicide Squad) |

I just watched it and I gotta say, the critics on Rotten Tomatoes are EXTREMELY biased cause that film was spectacular
the actors did a fine job playing their roles, the effects were amazing and the plot worked
I'd give it an 8.5/10 |

It seems like Rotten Tomatoes reviews Marvel movies as a whole, but they deconstruct DC movies, taking them apart bit by bit.
Also, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman was simply spectacular. I can't believe how everyone was sending hate mail to him and ranting when he was announced as Batman.
I wonder if people will be wrong with Jared Leto's Joker. Personally, I love the tattoos, I think they make his character look like a psychopath. He also nailed the laugh in the second trailer, and Jared Leto is a fantastic actor. |

I love how DC chooses to use a different tone from Marvel. Marvel is all about to friendly tone, DC is all about a dark and gritty universe.
A big problem I found in Batman V Superman was the rushed plot. Not going to spoil the ending, but I feel like they should have used the ending of Batman V Superman in another movie.
But I loved the use of the word 'Martha', and I thought that was very smart of the writers to use that.
I also thought that the scene with young Bruce Wayne was shot beautifully, loved the pearls snapping and hearing that faint sound of each pearl landing on the concrete. |

I completely agree with you, OP there are a lot of beautiful shots in the film, especially the pearl scene
it's not perfect, but it is a good film
and I've been excited for both Ben Affleck's Batman and Jared Leto's Joker and Affleck really delivered, I know Leto will too |

I saw it on Thursday Morning.
Pros -Visual Effects -Acting -Action Sequences -Cinematography
Cons -Messy -Pacing -No connections from one set to another set -Bombarded CGI/Visual Effects

the pearl scene, and a few others, come from frank miller's 'the dark knight returns' comic
give it a read if you've a spare hour or so |

To add my con Yes it is loud too.
I heard it in Dolby Surround 7.1 with JBL Speakers. I was at the almost to center row from the back in the middle and yes it was still loud.
Spoiler alert, the unexpected explosion of the court house scene almost gave me a heart attack. |

Loved that jump scare in the backstory of Bruce Wayne; gave the whole cinema a heart attack.
This movie deserves a 6.5 - 7.5/10. I'd say that anything less than 5 or 6 is a complete lie. |

Oh and, Loud movies does not necessarily indicate that the movie is bad, I mean just look at Interstellar. |

| There's a theory going around that Disney is paying critics to give Batman V Superman a low rating. |

That would explain a lot tbh, this film doesn't deserve the low ratings |

| I watched the movie (with expectations of it to be competent but not amazing, especially since this is my first taste of this new Superman and the new DCU in general) and...I WAS VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! I loved this movie. My only, legitimate gripe is that I really thought the actual Batman V Superman part could have been done better. It was a really clunky fight...also Louis Lane in a lot of parts of the movie was a bit of a damsel in distress. And Batman didn't do his speech from Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. |
