| Start off with an idea and backstory. Then flesh out the details of your RP. Talk about locations, specific enemies, background information (wars, events, etc.). Think about how you want your RP to go (ISRP, M-ISRP, Open RP, etc.), and write your plot accordingly (don't post the plot in the RP thread though, so no spoilers). Having a plot helps direct your RP into one cohesive direction. |

| Always have some hidden story within the roleplay or sub-stories so not everyone gets board. |

| Have a specific theme so, Sci-Fi, Fantasy e.c.t. Include characters or make 'em up as you go along. Use "" and make sure to have (). Make sure none Gmods or FRPs or you're RP is ruined. Have a backstory, them a problem and all that and add some side characters that can die or something to sete the scene. If you need more just ask. ;) |

Tailor a roleplay towards a specific audience, changing your writing style and perception depending on the situation.
Also, don't rely on yourself or spellcheck as an editor. Ask a friend schooled in the art of grammar to read through what you've written, to catch mistakes that might have previously escaped you. |
