It's actually like a week of pain and then a day of pain every time they're tightened. And you scar your cheeks and mouth on them and sometimes I hafta unhook my mouth from a bracket but other then that they're okay.

Advice, huh?
When you first get em on, it'll ache for a little bit. When you get the wire changed, it'll ache for a little bit. During the ache days, just have something soft for food. Soup, bread, stuff like that.
And if you're a bit of a slack teeth cleaner, step your game up. It's gonna be harder to clean, so you gotta try harder. |

You will expect a sore mouth, lowering stuff that you eat, they will give you wax if the brackets or wires are cutting your gums.

It shall kill your nerves for the first week (not literally), and will do that every time the wires are tightened or changed.

Oh yeah, but a water pick. It's basically a device that glosses your teeth with water so you don't have to take a million years to floss one tooth.
