Hello forumers of ROBLOX! And thanks for taking the time to read.
WARNING: This is going to be a quite long message, and only really intended for those of whom can build nice quality weapons, and or script. The building side of the game (excluding weapons) will be taken care of by myself. _________________________________________________________________________________
[INTRODUCTION] Project "End of Days" - Is a game title that I plan to be something unique, while it is not "Original" just as no game on roblox is, it will have many different features and things to do, that will set it apart from others of the same genre.
Project End of Days Began a little over two years ago, when I started designing the first map for the Post-Apocalyptic game. Since that time, I've learned a lot, and I mean alot. The first map built was 2048x2048 in size, with structures that were if I may say, plain awful. Throughout the time building the first map, led me to re-create it all for a second time, though this time with Smooth Terrain. And I must say so myself, the second map is huge improvement from the first. Which brings me to now, where I am yet again re-designing and creating all the structures, and the map itself, from scratch. -- So far over 28 unique buildings/structures have been created for the 3rd generation. I have also created a few of the GUIs to be used in the game.
[MAIN POINT / BODY] The main reason I am coming here to the forums today, is to find people who are interested in a project like this. I feel this project has a lot of potential, especially after watching a hack infested Apocalypse Rising dominate the Adventure Category for over 4 years now. There are only a small handful of Post-Apocalyptic games on ROBLOX, and a lot of players are waiting on the edge of their seats for a new one. The game "DeadWinter" went from just 5 people playing a night before I slept, to over 6,500+ online the very next day. With proper advertisements, an appealing game, and a great first impression, this could very well be successful.

| They might be, but I need to re-make them using scale instead. I more or less plan on them being a part of End of Days. |

| So, you just took it to yourself to say an assumption of no Roblox game being original. Okay. You would have to look/play every game to say that. |

| And @Silent, for the most part, no game is really original. And in all honesty, only like 10% of robloxs games if that, are without freemodels, and something thats even a half decent concept. |

| Is there going to be a stealth mechanic? Because if so,something cool would be to make it so text chat makes a sound,alerting nearby enemies. So the more letters you type into the chat the louder the sound,with capitals doing more. This way if you were walking into a town with no gear you wouldn't want to say anything out of fear of being attacked,or if you were heavily armed and wanted to draw everything's attention so you could deal with all the enemies at once. You could also just keep shouting "PANCAKES THIS WAY! FOLLOW ME TO VICTORY!" and lead a bunch of baddies into a player's base. Would be very fun,but a major annoyance for someone who likes using grammar,so unless they were in a safe area talking in full sentences would be a death sentence. It could work by having one lowercase letter being equal to 1 stud,while a capital is 2 or 3,so typing "I want some milk and potatoes." would be 26 studs of sound. It could be louder if you made it that way,but I don't know. I was actually going to use this idea in a game of mine where you play as wolves surviving the apocalypse 20 years after it started,and this would come into play if you went into a nearby city instead of sticking to the woods like a normal wolf. |

| If anyone's ever heard of or played DeadFrontier. That's another concept i'd like to see here on ROBLOX. A survival MMO with a huge lootable city. Players all start at the same "Outpost" and can then walk deeper into the cities to find other outposts. The deeper one goes in, the better the loot, and the more zombies/etc they will find. It's a really interesting concept, and I could quite easily make it, using the structures I already have for map 3, if thats the idea that a scripter would like to do. |
