I'll go over the seemingly reasonable answers they gave us as to why they're going through with this.
Reasoning one: "The ticket bonus for place visits has become a very small factor to most developers relative to the ROBUX economy."
-The reason this is REALLY a terrible reason is because while the ticket bonus is hardly anything to games with loads of game-passes, some games have no game passes, and their reasoning is they don't want their game to be pay to win. They want their game to be fun for all users. So with this update, you're taking EVERYTHING away from the people who care about the community the most.
Reasoning Two: "Although familiar to many of us, they are confusing to first-time users. We believe removing tickets will simplify our product in all areas, from the UI to the catalog to user-accounting."
-This isn't even quite relevant. It's confusing to first time users? When I joined and saw tickets, I thought it was awesome, and used it to buy some of the low cost hats. If it's really that BIG of a problem, how about you inform users in the welcome to roblox message from builderman which explains more complicated stuff?
Reasoning/Justification Three: "Free Stuff"
-This one is really one that is abusing the community. For roblox veterans in the future, they'll have the same stuff as people who just joined. People from 2016 will look like people from 2017, and that's not fair at all. This literally HINDERS creativity strongly.
Reasoning Four: "Bots"
-This is one that makes me EXTREMELY MAD. Being someone who's very educated about computer technology and software, I know that this is practically a straight out lie. I know this because roblox already has a bot prevention program, a "CAPTCHA".
A CAPTCHA "is a program that protects websites against bots by generating and grading tests that humans can pass but current computer programs cannot. For example, humans can read distorted text as the one shown below, but current computer programs can't" IT PREVENTS BOTS.
Reasoning Five: "Alt accounts"
-Honestly, this is probably the most reasonable argument out of all of them. Users probably would make alts to make tickets, but this isn't entirely true. I have many alts for having fun, in particular, "Spying" on war groups for fun, or "Name snipes" which are really cool as well. I've never "Tix Farmed" before because it's a waste of time, and I'm sure many users feel the same.
Reasoning Six: "Games have features, like ROBLOX Top Model, have made clothing purchased in the catalog less important, because dress-up can happen in-game, with your friends."
-Ok roblox this is pretty funny. Because there are a WHOLE LOT of games like roblox top model, where I can dress up as 'X'. Excuse me as I go dress up like a princess in phantom forces.
Reasoning Seven: "Developers can now monetize their game with developer products, gamepasses, and the affiliate program. ROBLOX developers can cash out their ROBUX for dollars which can be spent in the real world."
-Smells like pay to win, which is crushing the greater part of the roblox community who cant afford a gamepass that blows people up. Might I remind you that lots of people don't want to buy gamepasses.
Your move Roblox. |

Make email forced when a user creates an account and make it so only 1 email can be used per account.
This will decrease the amount of ALTs.
I also agree with everything you said, especially the Captcha. It's like Roblox is downright lying to us, and that they are really doing this for the extra cash they can reel in from us. |

You idiots should be happy it'd take 5 days to get a shirt or pants, because we're going to get R$1 a day. Have you even read the FULL article of the blog?

Have YOU even read the blog? Because I distinctly recall seeing this:
Q: Will anything replace the login bonus?
We want to continue to reward many of the other activities you do on ROBLOX. We are introducing three temporary achievements on ROBLOX. Check the blog tomorrow for details. We want to continue to celebrate your accomplishments – and you guys do so much more than just log in!
That's just a really long and wordy way to say "Screw you, no." Where is the 1 ROBUX/day login bonus? |

Q: If it’s about simplifying the economy why aren’t we getting a small stipend of ROBUX for continued logins?
This would make it even more attractive to create alts and bots. Are you dumb? |

Clearly, it was a mistake, they wouldn't be giving out free robux when we still have Tix.
