We aren't "put" on this earth.
And at some point we wont die due to scientific advances. |

well, we kind of grew on here, we weren't put scientists and solar explorers speculate that the huge meteor so many years ago caused our evolution as they found that meteors have an essential building block of life.
Also, I'm agnostic.
you are most welcome |

| That would end up in starvation, dehydration, lack of shelter. We would be suffering death's consequences without dying. The suffering would not end. People would just kill themselves. The answer is death.. |

"And at some point we wont die due to scientific advances. "
If people could live forever, I have several points about this;
1)The Rich and powerful could possibly hog these sets of medical advancements to live longer to themselves. This would lead to it being hard to revolt against the people at top.
2)assuming the general population was given access to this, and assuming they did not have to pay for this, over population would become a real issue. People would stop having children as often eventually. The upside of this would be that people would start caring about stuff like stopping global warming, saving the ecosystems, etc, because it is now affecting their quality of life.
3)Violence would probably become common. With people being unable to die, people could possibly think that it would be okay to chop someone's head off because hey, they aint gonna die!

Death is an answer the same way silence is an answer, it isn't one.
Death is completely pointless.

another point;
4)Su!c!d3 rates among elders would increase A LOT. If we age the same but live forever, a lot of people would be miserable. I can only see living forever as an enjoyable experience plausibly if only science gets around to either slowing down or stopping the ageing proccess

| No. No, death is the most important thing in the world. Without it, people would suffer, the world's population would be past 10 billion, and murder and disease would be horrible. |

Quite likely.

We'd begin colonizing our galaxy, this is the first step to truly becoming an advanced race.
"3)Violence would probably become common. With people being unable to die, people could possibly think that it would be okay to chop someone's head off because hey, they aint gonna die!"
If this was true then religious people would be killing without hesitation, according to their books everyone will go to a magical land when they die, so death truly is irrelevant.
Luckily it isn't true, and we have a moral basis for our actions. |

People suffer with, and without death.
Suffering isn't needed, in fact it can be completely done away with. |

Eternal life could possibly be very enjoyable if the human species as a whole decides it's choices wisely. These are my thoughts and idk if they'll actually make eternal life enjoyable.
1)Mandatory death - After a certain amount of time, like 500 years or 1,000 years or what ever, you'll have to die. This could help control population and avoid having the human race stagnate.
2)You can only have children when you're allowed too. Sounds a bit harsh but this could easily avoid over crowding if we only stay on Earth, which I doubt.
3)You can only live where there is room. If Mars is too full, go to the moon or stay on Earth.

@Debate,
haha. We believe that because it is our religion and our faith.. please (as ridiculous as it may be) try to respect that :D
also, I believe in heaven, because it is comforting. Knowing there is more than just death at the end of the road. |

Heaven is Gods kingdom, it's pretty much a celestial north korea.
Worship God day and night, and if you don't you'll get sent to hell where you'll be tortured day and night.
And let's not forget that just like in north korea, God punishes every single human because two of them made a mistake.
