| The removal of Tix will change ROBLOX indefinitely. Whether for the better, I am not sure. Looking at the way ROBLOX uses their currency, Tix is actually a huge part of it. Without Tix many things will be affected. The amount of clothing being bought will go down drastically. Majority of people use Tix to buy their clothing, instead of Robux. New users may be drawn away from ROBLOX because they cannot obtain items without paying real life money. Sponsored items will serve no purpose, as they will not be costing 1 Tix, obviously. If they costed 1 Robux, you won't be able to buy it unless you bought Robux beforehand, which costs real money. Developers will have to use Robux to run ads for their games, but how will they obtain these Robux? By buying them. Even after getting the Robux to start showing ads, how do they know they will even make a profit? Sure, a few people might join the game but what good does that do if there is no reward for people playing your game? The only way to obtain Robux is for people to use THEIR Robux on your gamepasses and clothing. At the end of the day, Robux can only be obtained if they are bought. There will no longer be any way for people to make an income in ROBLOX without one person buying the Robux to begin with. |
