Copy & Pasted, Courtesy of Redsoxs4 (sorry if I misspelled) Since this post got removed:

ROBLOX has always had a past, and while mostly good, some updates including Price Floor, debatably DevEx, and now the removal of a key component of the game since currency was added over 9 years ago. I first started ROBLOX 5 1/2 years ago, and even though I do not spend much when it comes to buying anymore, (my 5,886 tix just from login bonuses pretty much, and 2k R$) there are reason which will be outlined why this is a deliberate money grab, with several "scape-goat" reasons as to why they are removing it.

Second Paragraph

" while Tickets were designed to reward participation (building stuff and playing the game) without giving out free ROBUX (which would cause inflation for all users who purchased them)."

- I want to highlight 2 key points here: "inflation" and "participation"
Inflation, so ROBLOX gives a reason, and it should be a pretty major one if it is after their thesis paragraph. But if ROBLOX as a company is continuing to exflate the economy with updates - not due to tix; most notably DevEx, in my opinion, because with millions of ROBUX leaving the economy from the start, plus a 90% tax on NBC items, isn't that making the economy worse, while you gain more money in the long run, because of the prices of exchange going way up it leads more users forced to buy BC, or ROBUX, just an attempt to mediate the economy, which still hasn't been resolved.
Participation, With Tix being removed, with the thousands of users joining a day, what are they supposed to buy, even though it was still very hard in the first place after the Price Floor update. By giving users worthless "achievements" which they haven't specified at all what the achievements were, or in regards how they would keep new users coming back when one of ROBLOX's key ideas is "expression," and they are forced, which most of them are younger users to ask their parents to buy the ROBUX or BC.

Third Paragraph:
" Many of these games have their own currencies, and many of these games provide their own retention bonus systems"

- How does this have to do with the removal of TIX at all?

Fifth Paragraph:

"We are removing tickets for a number of reasons. Although familiar to many of us, they are confusing to first-time users. We believe removing tickets will simplify our product in all areas, from the UI to the catalog to user-accounting."

- Can you provide statistical analysis that says that it is confusing for new users? Of course it will simplify your product, as a game, but removing currency all together for "new users" will not simplify the product, but rather remove it from them.

Eighth Paragraph:

"We have many things in store for the majority of ROBLOX players who do not want to become involved with the ROBUX economy. In the catalog, we intend to provide more free items, so that avatar customization without ROBUX continues to be creative and rich. Today, we have introduced two free packages for your character. Going forward, we will feature the work of top creators in the community as we migrate to a fully community driven catalog."

- What a joke. First off "we intend to provide more free items," Yeah oh boy, I cannot wait to get a new free visor, or blocky hair that doesn't look like my hair at all. Then following it up with "creative" and "rich" to describe that. I don't know if this was written for words, or what, but how many new users do you see that are not BC members with "rich" and "creative" styles. Probably none.

Ninth Paragraph:

"For our deeply engaged users we want to be able to provide more valuable rewards that are not directly tied to login. Over time, we will unveil a rich achievement system on ROBLOX that rewards and recognizes behavior that we think is noteworthy. In the interim, while we are going through this transition, we will be making several gifts available to our users based on their engagement. We will be announcing these gifts tomorrow on the blog."

-As stated in the Eighth Paragraph, you're limiting customization not making it "richer" or more "creative" you're forcing the users without a membership, who do give the site thousands of dollars through ad revenue, hats most of us don't want.

Tenth Paragraph:

"There is another benefit to removing tickets, and that is it removes the incentive to create alt accounts. We don’t believe it makes sense to provide a currency bonus to having multiple accounts, as this drives behavior that is not at the core of ROBLOX."

- This just enrages me, that they really thought of the excuse for THAT. First off, where the moderators that daft when they thought about it, because I doubt any moderators know it takes 42 Tix to make 1 R$. Unless someone really is that pretentious to make hundreds of accounts, and happen to waste 45 minutes of their day at a minimum to get at most 5-10R$, then good for them. This was the most moronic excuse yet to "sway the opinion."

Twelfth Paragraph:

"For those of you who are clothing developers, we believe that over time you will have a richer opportunity as we expand our catalog to a next generation avatar. We will be lowering the ROBUX price floor on shirts and pants to help increase the volume of sales of these items for our creators. We have a roadmap for the future of avatars on ROBLOX, and as these new features roll out, new opportunities for clothing designers will follow, making the catalog more robust and high quality."

-Yeah, actually you're probably going to lose more money. Why you may ask? So, since around 75% of accounts are restricted (probably being generous,) you're losing a lot of your potential market base, and even though the BC accounts for the most part have more of the currency, you're potentially losing THOUSANDS of R$.

Then, let's add some retextured hats for us to spend our tix. Goodie.

The ROBLOX made FAQ with their own questions:

"Removing tickets simplifies our efforts to expand in all directions."
- How so? Explain, yes simplifying the product, but in return removing the product as a whole.

"For those of you specifically interested in character dress-up, more and more developer games are supporting this. Some of our games, like ROBLOX Top Model, have made clothing purchased in the catalog less important, because dress-up can happen in-game, with your friends."
- WHAT THE? ARE YOU REALLY DOING YOUR WHOLE ARGUMENT BASED ON ONE GAME, THAT THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE DO NOT PLAY, AND CAN ONLY DO IN THAT GAME. Jesus Christ.

"We are reducing the price floor on shirts and pants from 10 to 5. We are reducing the price floor to ensure that creators have more freedom to sell items at lower prices, now that tickets will be removed. We will also be holding regular contests for clothing makers going forward. They will be creating the clothing for our new users and we’ll also be featuring their clothing in the catalog for all users."
-Would have been a good change, actually, if you didn't remove Tix it would be perfect, because then developers could actually gain more money from this, but instead, you're using a fake wishy-washy answer to fulfill a fake need.

"Q: If it’s about simplifying the economy why aren’t we getting a small stipend of ROBUX for continued logins?

This would make it even more attractive to create alts and bots."

-Then why are you removing TIX in the first place?

"Q: If it’s about botting, why don’t you just implement ways to counteract that, like only awarding currency for spending at least x minutes in a game?

In general, anything we reward with currency will ultimately be botted."

- This is actually a great idea, but as stated in the tenth paragraph, it would take hours just to get 5-10 R$ now if you added in let's say 30 minutes of gameplay. Honestly, if someone is working that hard, they deserved to be rewarded imo.

"Q: ROBLOX is greedy for taking away free currency.

Every dollar we make at ROBLOX gets poured back into the company. Unlike many other kid (and adult) virtual worlds, MMOs, and social networks, we are growing rapidly and have an enormous opportunity ahead of us.

Our vision is to Power the Imagination of our community, and to do it more immersively and more socially. Removing tickets is not about greed. It is about simplifying the platform, removing bots and alts, and paving the way for a ROBLOX that is bigger, more engaging, and more fun than ever before."

How to impower your imagination if you can't express your avatar without spending money? It is definitely about greed. It's not going to be more fun if you can't do anything and you're in a Sovietesque place where half the server looks the exact same.

"Q: ROBLOX doesn’t care about base-level players, the majority of our Monthly Active Users.

Every player who ever supports us through ROBUX or Builders Club was originally a base-level player. We understand this dearly. We understand that if we make ROBLOX less attractive for base-level players, over time we will have fewer monetizing players."

- So, it was basically said that NBC members, like myself do not matter to ROBLOX, why don't you just remove the entire NBC community and make ROBLOX pay2play. Let's see how that goes, kiddo. ;^)

This concludes my rebuttal on ROBLOX's "Saying Goodbye to Tickets" After reading this (which I doubt most people will,) and hopefully some moderators take light on this. This is a disgrace for a game that markets itself to younger children, with the goals of "imagining" and "being creative."

People would be forced to buy BC or ROBUX so they could keep the site up, Honestly I don't really care if TIX are gone, Everyone said they hated TIX and look at them now over-reacting. I'm honestly happy with this update. I don't think you should make games just for the money, I thought that was the reason why you hated Devs, That right there is some hypocritism right there. Plus TIX are useless, Since when did people actually save up for something really valuable. You guys are the greedy ones because you expect to get everything free/cheap. You guys can't live in a world where you get everything free."NBCs won't have unique styles"If you had read the blog post you would know that ROBLOX is releasing a plethora of free items. NBCers will be able to not only have unique styles, but have more choice than they have now.Let me not die ingloriously, but let me first do some great thing that shall be told among men hereafter."without the player visit income these devs will be forced to add ingame paywalls and purchasable bonuses in order to make money on their games."Player visit income provides a very small amount of income. I'm a small game developer. For every ticket I earn from traffic income, I earn about 1 robuck. These tickets do almost nothing.Q: I used to spend most of my time on ROBLOX earning the login bonus, and then shopping for shirts and pants in the catalog for my avatar. What can I do now?More and more, the future of ROBLOX will be about experiencing things with your friends. Most of our work at ROBLOX is focused on making ROBLOX more immersive, and available on more platforms, and easier to play with friends. Removing tickets simplifies our efforts to expand in all directions. And it will simplify the introduction of our new articulated avatar. We plan to be free forever, so you will accrue these benefits as we expand to the living room and VR, and as we make our mobile experience increasingly more social and spontaneous. For those of you specifically interested in character dress-up, more and more developer games are supporting this. Some of our games, like ROBLOX Top Model, have made clothing purchased in the catalog less important, because dress-up can happen in-game, with your friends. That said, we will be making more free items available in the catalog, not just shirts and pants. We expect that all players will still be able to customize their avatar for free in creative and meaningful ways.Q: Will anything replace the login bonus? We want to continue to reward many of the other activities you do on ROBLOX. We are introducing three temporary achievements on ROBLOX. Check the blog tomorrow for details. We want to continue to celebrate your accomplishments – and you guys do so much more than just log in!We have come a long way since that time. Today, the economy in ROBLOX is more and more driven by developers, who create imaginative and creative games. Many of these games have their own currencies, and many of these games provide their own retention bonus systems. We’ve introduced a host of ways for our developers to make ROBUX. The ticket bonus for place visits has become a very small factor to most developers relative to the ROBUX economy. We are removing tickets for a number of reasons. Although familiar to many of us, they are confusing to first-time users. We believe removing tickets will simplify our product in all areas, from the UI to the catalog to user-accounting.There is another benefit to removing tickets, and that is it removes the incentive to create alt accounts. We don’t believe it makes sense to provide a currency bonus to having multiple accounts, as this drives behavior that is not at the core of ROBLOX.For those of you who are clothing developers, we believe that over time you will have a richer opportunity as we expand our catalog to a next generation avatar. We have a roadmap for the future of avatars on ROBLOX, and as these new features roll out, new opportunities for clothing designers will follow, making the catalog more robust and high quality.Users will have 30 days to spend down their Ticket balances on commemorative Ticket items, user ads, or to trade them using our currency trading system. In addition, ROBLOX will be awarding gifts over the next couple weeks. By completing tasks on ROBLOX, namely playing and creating, you will earn virtual items.Trade currency will close. Users will no longer be able to exchange currency with one another.User ads will be available for purchase in ROBUX only.Users and developers can no longer sell items for Tickets. Items with a Ticket and a ROBUX price will be available for the ROBUX price. Items with a Ticketprice will have their price converted to ROBUX at a rate of 17:1Tickets will no longer be visible or usable.Developers will no longer receive Tickets on place visitUsers will no longer get Tickets for logging inPrice floor is lowered on shirts and pants to R$5First gifts appear in the catalog shortly (future announcement)

@Ukelele

"People would be forced to buy BC or ROBUX so they could keep the site up," Not necessarily: ROBLOX said it themselves in the blog post: "We are profitable and will be hiring 40+ additional 3mployees in 2016, 100% supported by our profits." They are already making a substantial amount of money. Plus, NBCs do contribute to this site, by the hundreds of advertisements, just as an example as I'm typing this I have a We33bly & World of W@rsh1ps ad on my screen.

The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.
