All deputies trying to become a Detective are required to send in an application to the Department to take part in the special detective training. The application is listed below.
Q1: Username: Q2: Join Date: Q3: Have you ever committed any criminal action in King County? Q4: If so, what was it? Q5: Do you have any previous detective law enforcement experience? If so, please list the departments here: Q6: If you were to join the [KC] King County Sheriff's Detectives, how would you improve the department? Q7: When is a detective required to draw his firearm? Q8: When is a detective required to fire his firearm? Q9: What are “Miranda Rights?” Q10: Are you willing and able to attend a detective training lasting longer than one hour, or two training sittings, 30 minutes each?
