Hey everyone, my point of view on this whole deal is a bit "controversial" and I'm probably going to earn some hate on this, but if you disagree with anything that I state, go ahead and reply; I honestly want to know how you guys are taking this new update in!
To begin, the reason as to why I think that this new Tix Update is great for ROBLOX is because it's going to shift a lot of people's view from customizing their character and worrying about fashion, to the enjoyment and fun from playing the games. The team at ROBLOX really wants people to jump in and make games and play them; currently, it seems as if a lot of people on ROBLOX right now have a vision of spending the most, looking the best, and being the richest, instead of having goals related to building, games, and having fun with the community.
Secondly, the Blog post has stated that it'll give out rewards to those that participate in the community (building games, playing games, improving the community, etc.) So now because of this, there'll be a drive for people to do their best to participate in the community, and it'll probably make ROBLOX that social-blocky goofiness that it intended to be. I feel as if most of the negativity that's being shot towards this update is proof that people are mostly thinking about profiting money and customization rather than making ROBLOX a fun game. Not only that, but them removing Tix isn't the fault of the ROBLOX Team, but the money-hungry community of ROBLOX and their schemes (botting, scamming, alt accounts).
Lastly, I feel as if this update is a good step for ROBLOX as it'll give BC and things of the like more meaning. What I mean by this is that because of this update, it'll transform BC into a genuine membership for ROBLOX; there will be more people who'll buy BC because of not only the small benefits that they get, but because they want to support ROBLOX, and not support themselves (buying BC just to get virtual money).
If you disagree with me, go ahead, I'd really liek to know your take on ROBLOX's decision, and my opinion! |

You forgot to mention that the removal of Tix is also the removal of half of the community.

Sorry, I very, very strongly disagree. The rewards roblox claims they will give out for best games and stuff will only benefit the best developers who are already rich and famous and can make the best games.

With this new drive, better games, new developers, and fresher concepts will spew out of ROBLOX. And in the blogpost I'm pretty sure ROBLOX stated that they're not just limiting only towards the developers as they're giving rewards to those that play games and stuff. |

@potato
The thing is, the economy of ROBLOX isn't supposed to be a thing that ROBLOX should always be focusing on. Bruh, ROBLOX was made as a place to socialise in goofy-block games, not worrying about virtual economy.
@buzz
The best bet is that the new games from the "new generation" will probably be fun and new, as ROBLOX has stated that featured games will be reviewed by the ROBLOX team themselves before hitting the Players. |
