| I'm so mad about the ticket removal. New developers cannot make money this way if you remove the visit tickets, and they will be forced to pay ROBUX in order to make any sort of money. |

topkek
I'm betting this website goes as far as fall-ish 2017 before they delete the rest of the features (for the better) and it's literally unplayable

The game is fine, y'all got issues. They literally even said they were replacing the tix. It might be a crap decision but it might be a great one, wait and see before you make your judgements. The only thing less-than-satisfying is the fact there are so many of the same types of games going on the front page, but that's developer's creativity - or rather, lack thereof - and the player's not caring too much about a change and just liking to play the same thing over and over. ROBLOX is only making it so we can make games better, and what we do with that is up to us.

price floor- lowered 5 robux
place visits- no more getting paid for that
hats and such- user-created, but who creates them? will the NBCers finally get to make their own shirts again? or will roblox become increasingly more pay-to-play, despite how much they may try to reassure the poor ones by making a few items free?
"it removes the incentive to create alt accounts. " (-quote from the blog) my only incentive to make alt accounts was so that i could build more than one place without being forced to pay actual money
-how are we going to earn anything aside from a few extravagant prizes that will likely only be produced at the very beginning
>175,000 tix hat w h y ?
"as we make our mobile experience increasingly more social and spontaneous." (quote from the blog) spontaneous as in, all of these updates coming out of nowhere?
"Some of our games, like ROBLOX Top Model, have made clothing purchased in the catalog less important, because dress-up can happen in-game, with your friends." (quote) >those games only offer a small portion of what's available in the catalog >not every game has that feature >wat
"we will be making more free items available in the catalog, not just shirts and pants. We expect that all players will still be able to customize their avatar for free in creative and meaningful ways." b u t w i l l w e g e t t o m a k e o u r o w n ? ? ?

On the other hand, it's the hundreth anniversary of the 1916 Easter Rising. That was the day we destroyed the tea drinking chavs.
I'm celebrating today by eating potayts.

What did you expect? Every member of the Roblox staff, with the exception of a select few that are actually decent, are completely and utterly incompetent. All they care about is money. Nothing else matters to them
They are true scum.

| I'm fully aware I'm BC and "shouldn't be complaining about it because you get robux" but it's not fair to users who can't spend money here or won't. They get only the free stuff made by ROBLOX, because the price floor is 5 R$, not spending money will keep everyone from getting anything. |

(Something in the OP stopped me from posting, so he's a shorter version because I'm too lazy to rewrite it differently). They give us more than enough in the fact we spend absolutely nothing to help keep ROBLOX up, and yet they're promising to give more free stuff and stop the daily grin.ding for tix. The best thing they could do I think is give us more active games for the people who really do like creating. Other than that ROBLOX at this point could cost money simply to play games and they would still stay running, so be grateful we can play for free at all.

| I think the best part about this Tix situation is that they're actually trying to sell us stuff for it. |

This is bloody ridiculous as it is. They even cited this as a reason!:
"Although familiar to many of us, they are confusing to first-time users. We believe removing tickets will simplify our product in all areas, from the UI to the catalog to user-accounting."
Why does it matter if it's confusing to newcomers? How is removing the Tix tab going to simplify the UI? What kind of person number-crunches on an online profile? I have so many questions as to what the devs think their consumer base is. |
