| So, if I were to buy a i5 4690k and overclocked it a bit and decided to get a graphics card like 2 months later, would this be a good idea? Keep in mind I'm used to playing roblox at 15 fps 20 if I'm lucky. And do all motherboards or cpus(not sure which one the integrated graphics depend on) come with integrated graphics or only some? |

pretty much all modern motherboards allow for integrated graphics as long as the cpu has a graphics die in it
the 4690k does, it's not very strong but it would do fine for roblox
i'm away rn and i'm playing roblox on a laptop with a dual-core i5-4210u
btw i have the 4690k, overclocked w/ a h100i so if you have any questiosn feel free to ask

roblox is not necessarily used much for the core, (i mean it helps but its very easy to run) but yea look into some more ram. also give more details about what your buying so i can help more, and what you plan to do with it.

Upgrade your ram first also amd processors work just as good as Intel also and they're cheaper |

don't expect to run like witcher 3 on the integrated graphics chip lol
light games like roblox or minecraft will do fine
but if you'll be playing more intensive games in the future, you should probably pick up a graphics card in the future
"also amd processors work just as good as Intel also and they're cheaper"
not for gaming
nononono
amd's current line of processors have very very weak performance per core, there's more cores but they perform a lot worse than intel's processors
you can have an fx-8320 with 8 cores, but even a dual-core i3-4170 will crush it for gaming
using it for video editing? fine
gaming? don't
if you want to use an amd processor wait for Zen

not at decent settings or even full resolution
you'd be lucky to run those at low 720p

i5-4690k overclocked to 4.5GHz with a Corsair H100i 16GB ram Sapphire Dual-X R9 280X 1TB hard drive 128gb ssd evga nex750b power supply (wouldn't recommend this psu tbh)

because not all corsair psus are good
corsair cx(m), cs, vs, rm series do NOT belong in anything more than basic budget office builds
i've literally seen a cx430m explode

it's not that it's a bad-performing psu
in fact for their price they have some of the best ripple supression and voltage regulation
but they've been known to not be very reliable
