★NRL Draft (League Wide)★ My salary cap idea worked for S5, but there was one problem, it was a burden on the league to keep up on. That's why we are now doing a league wide draft, it has the same purpose of balancing teams, but is FAR easier to keep up with. This draft is 15 rounds long, and if needed will be cut off short or will get more rounds added on. Some rules are down below. 1. No trading during the draft, only after. 2. You begin with 0 players (not even an AC). 3. Trying to avoid the draft to get signed after it will instantly be detected by me and you will be exiled until next season. (NOTE: By this I don't mean not physically showing to the draft, but for example, if you leave the league before the draft and rejoin right after to get signed to whatever team you want, that's NOT allowed.)
★Free Agency and Draft Information★ Every offseason, there will be a NFL combine and a NFL Draft. The NFL Combine is available for anyone that is not a HC, and is used to gain publicity and get your name known before the NFL Draft. The NFL Draft is where EVERYONE in the league is draftable, this will take the place of the salary cap idea. NFL Assistant Coaches or higher may sign, drop, and trade players for their team. To sign a player, a AC+ may post a offer on the league wall and the player has to accept on the league wall. Any signings will HAVE to be posted officially on the NFL Transaction Group, as it will hold documented proof of the signing. The Head Coach can also veto/reverse any action made by the Assistant Coaches, as long as it is within 24 hours.
★Player Terms and Conditions★ Upon joining a team either as a player, you will not be able to join or tryout for any other NFL team. You will not be able to play for other teams while participating in one already. You are limited to only one NFL team. If you would like to join a different NFL team, you can ask the Head Coach of your team to release you. If he doesn't agree, refusing to play will lead to a season suspension. If the Head Coach agrees, he will release you on the wall. From there, the player can sign with any team who offers the player a contract. If the Head Coach denies the player to leave the team, the player must stay on the team. If the player really would like to leave the team, the player can appeal to the Commissioner and he will either approve or deny the appeal. If approved, the player will be removed from the team and placed on the “Free Agent” ranking. The following methods of leaving a team will not be allowed and will result in a suspension whose length will be determined by the Commissioner (The suspension will be terminated if the act is undone):
Method One: Fake Retiring: If a player leaves a team while the player still has years left on the players contract, the player may not join another team for a minimum of one seasons. Method Two: Resigning: If a player resigns from the league altogether, the player will not be able to rejoin a team for a minimum of one league seasons.
★Coach Terms and Conditions★ ★NFL★ Coaches don't really follow the same policy as players do; if they leave in the middle of a season, they are automatically put on the team they used to Head Coach and is put as a player. That former Head Coach may leave the former team at the end of the season. The only way for a Head Coach to leave a team without being stuck on it for the rest of the season, would be to resign during the offseason. Although if the HC is a veteran coach of that team, they have the ability to leave midseason.
★Game Day Requirements★ If a team does not have atleast 7 players during the day of a game the team will automatically forfeit the game. If a team uses players that are suspended or are not on their team they will automatically forfeit unless said so by the Commissioner. It may also be noted that on gameday, no transactions may be made until 12:00 AM EST (midnight). The only ways a game can be postponed are exploitation and Commissioner postponement.
★Trades★ Two teams can choose to trade players between one another. The trade deadline will start at the beginning of the 2nd to last week of that season.
★Playoff Seeding★ The three best teams from each Conference will advance to the playoffs. The 2nd seed will play the 3rd seed, and the 2nd seed will play the 3rd seed. The 1st seed gets a bye week, and home advantage against the winner of the 2nd vs 3rd seed match.
★Playoff Tiebreakers★ If there should be a tie between teams in the playoffs, the following will decide which team will get into the playoffs:
1. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. (ex. Team 1: 4-9 Team 2: 5-8 | Team 2 is ahead of Team 1)
2. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs). (ex. Team 1: Beat Team 2 twice | Team 1 is ahead of Team 2)
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games. (ex. Team 1: Beat Teams 3, 4, 6 Team 2: Beat Team 3, 4, Lost to Team 6| Team 1 is ahead of Team 2)
If all else fails, the Commissioner will decide with aid of the EB+.
★Admin Members★ Referees will manage the game aspect of the league. You can see a list of all the game rules further down. Executive Board Members are admins that help the league as a whole. They aren't powerful individually, but all together can be a great force when determining rule changes, ranks, etc. If any Executive Board Member "AA's" please report it to the Commissioner. Co-Commissioners are the Commissioners right hand man(s). They are like a Commissioner, but with less power and can be overruled by the Commissioner. The Commissioner shall own every team’s group. He shall choose a maximum of two assistants to help him. Any questions you have should be directed to the Commissioner.
★Use Of Admin★ The use of admin should be for helpful purposes. There is NO tolerance for abusing your admin rights. Doing so will lead to demotion, and possible suspension/exilement.
★Player Age Requirement★ Players in the NFL must be atleast 361 days old. If they are under, they must prove that they are not an alt. Any player above 360 days old may be considered an alt if evidence is found.
★In Game Rules★ 1. No “:m”ing during a game unless it is halftime or there is a timeout called.
2. The offense must wait until the playlock hits "25" seconds to snap the ball. If it is the start of a drive, you must wait until "15" seconds to snap the ball. The only exception to this rule is in the final two minutes of the 4th quarters. Failure to do so will result in a five yard penalty. (If the clock is stopped in the last 2 minutes of the 2nd or 4th quarter, then the 15 second rule still applies.)
3. The Player must snap it in the pocket (in between hashes). Failure to do so will result in a 5 yard penalty.
4. The QB must snap it inside 15 yards of the LoS and outside 5 yards of the LoS. Failing to do so will result in a 5 yard penalty.
5. NFL games must be atleast 7v7, if there are more players on the field than the designated value, it is a -5 yard penalty.
6. Every player of each team MUST play a minimum time limit of 2 minutes each game. If not followed for 2-3 games, the designated player that's being underplayed will have a option to leave the team with no punishment. If the problem of underplaying players continues, the team may lose contract space and/or draft picks. (NOTE: This rule is in construction, don't bother with it unless stated.)
7. Any ingame glitches such as getting sacked in the endzone and it not counting as a safety, getting a int but the downs not getting turned over, anything along those lines must be fixed. For example, x back, add/remove points, etc.
8. Tails, Swordpacks, Wings, Picture Frames, Slothes, Antlers, and any package other than 1.0 and 2.0 is prohibited. If any player has any of these on, tell them to change or else they must be taken out of the game.
9. Anything that affects gameplay externally (such as macros, hacks, exploits, etc.) are banned and any player who creates this act will be banned from the game and suspended.
10. If a player trolls in-game (such as turning the ball over, hiking the ball without permission, etc.), the ball is x'ed back (if turnover) or the yards are regained. That specific player is then suspended for the remainder of the season
11. Dunking with the ball is a -5 yard penalty
12. Doing anything as to cheat the system, such as backspacing the ball oob during a kickoff to gain extra yards, or anything of that sort is prohibited. If an illegal kick happens, the offense is moved back to the 20.
13. If there was a fumble or interception in the endzone, and the person possessing the ball never leaves the endzone, but it's still called a safety, then the safety is called back and the team that got the turnover gets the ball at the 20.
14. The home team always decides who gets the ball first
15. Diving behind the LoS (Line of Scrimmage) is prohibited by both the offense and defense. Doing so will result in a loss of down or a free first down.
16. DE's can not consistently jump, or spam jump, while rushing. The only appropriate time to jump as a DE is when the ball is thrown. (2 jump minimum rule)
17. If the clock is under 2 minutes, the winning team on offense cannot pass 20 yards behind the LoS or else it's a -5 yards penalty AND a loss of down. (So the refs will tp the QB -5 yards behind the LoS where they are for the penalty to be enforced.)
18. If you want to kick a field goal, announce it with a "h" message to the server so the refs understand. You must be inside the 30 to kick one. The offense will have someone snap the ball 5 yards behind the LoS, he will then 'x' the ball to the kicker. The kicker will then kick the ball. If you the defensive team tackles the snapper/kicker, it counts as a tackle and is acted upon as a normal play. The offense cannot stack to block the defense, but the defense may stack to block the kick. You CAN fake a field goal.
19. T/O's must be called using ':h" by a admin of the team calling it, each team has 3 T/O's to use throughout the whole game. (3 T/O's split between halves, 2 T/O's in OT).
20. Since there is no auto HT, refs need to stop the clock as soon as the 3rd Q starts. They then need to proceed to give the ball to the team who didn't start off with the ball, and give it to them at the 20.
21. If the ball is caught and then put away, they are down at the spot it was caught.
★Miscellaneous★ Numerical values of this rulebook may be changed as the league grows or shrinks.
