With the Spartans facing the Raiders, the Ducks facing the Bruisers, the Raiders facing the Rams, and the Sunbirds facing the Bruisers all in the next 3 weeks there is bound to be some drama in the West. The playoffs are approaching folks and these coming matchups will prove not only who is the best in the West, but the best in the LEAGUE.
Please post suggestions in the comments below for future forums.
[OWC Power Rankings] I changed it up so it is NOT based off of record anymore. These are my opinion.
#1 Corinth Spartans: 6-1
#2 Saxon Sunbirds: 5-2
#3 Millikan Rams: 4-3
#4 RedCliff Raiders: 4-3
#4 Dansville Ducks: 5-2
#6 Barton Bruisers: 3-4
#7 Canton Greats: 1-6
#8 Roblox Warriors: 0-7
Please note that if you are not as highly ranked as you'd like, it is simply because the OWC is stacked. I am not saying you're bad unless you're the Warriors....this man vrill got me siked at HC
Here we go.
#1 Corinth Spartans: 6-1 The Spartans are the OWC equivalent to the Snowhawks in my opinion. Great team and great roster. They have the capability and show the most potential to be the OWC representative in this coming Victory Bowl. However, they are not unbeatable by any means. Yeah, yeah I know prowling got ddosed vs the rams. But still, that game posed some serious questions for the Spartans. They did not handle being behind in points well AT ALL. If they want to make a run in these playoffs in the West, they need to handle pressure a lot better. It looked to me like they just fell apart vs. the Rams. But one loss doesn't define a team by any means. The Spartans overall are a strong team who have the skill.. but they have 5 other bloodthirsty teams standing in their way. Prowling, especially, has to step up in these coming weeks and get the job done.
#2 Saxon Sunbirds: 5-2 DC, I gotta give the credit to ya man. You took the speedout offense, revised it, and made it damn near perfect. Coming from personal experience facing the Sunbirds, they are not a team you want to mess around with. This team is legit. Even without DC, they exposed FFC's defense (although that's not THAT impressive) and kept it somewhat close until the end. Saxon, you don't have the best roster on paper, but you sure get the job done on the field. I expect Saxon to have a legendary run in the playoffs this season; watch out for them, they can go all the way.
#3 Millikan Rams: 4-3 The Rams, as disappointing as they are at times, are still a great team in my book. It seems to me that their only issue this season seems to be some chemistry issues despite their great roster on paper. When they're all on the same page and not yelling at each other, this team is virtually unstoppable. Their offense will score every drive and their defense will make it so damn difficult for you to score. The Rams are legit, don't sleep on them because of their record.
#4 RedCliff Raiders: 4-3 The Raiders with their new addition of Bunglest are even more of a threat than before. They also have sensational WRs like khyber (I think thats how you spell it lol) and patty. If they knew how to kick an extra point *looks at Saxon game*, they'd be higher in my rankings. But a one point loss to the 2nd highest rated OWC team (without their "full" roster) is still an impressive loss nonetheless. When the Raiders have whoever they were missing vs. Saxon, I think they can beat anyone. Can Bunglest end the playoff curse and finally win it all?
#4 Dansville Ducks: 5-2 The Ducks just haven't impressed me so far this season. This S3 Reunion team is greatly talented with Geeo, tuuz, WROTY candidate fuuz, damion, and many more. But with the roster they have, they should be performing better than they are. They can't make 4th quarter mistakes like they did vs Saxon.. If the Ducks can improve their defensive performance and sharpen their offensive chemistry, I expect the Ducks to knock any team that stands in their way in the mouth in the coming weeks. Get it done, Ducks.
#6 Barton Bruisers: 3-4 Barton I know you're better than this! Their record lies, Barton is a highly talented team. They gave Rams a run for their money and ended up beating them. Their losses are to HAIL MARY'S... Barton, you're in danger man. You MUST finish out games in the 4th. If they do, they can beat anyone. Watch out for them these next few weeks, the rest of their season is very important.
Cantwin: Name says it all.
Warriors: This man vrill is huff.
