(Sorry for delaying this Benzo.)
(Original thread - http://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=181737597)
Ranstin was trailing in front of you, the two of you traveling at a soft canter. You had just come from down the mountains that isolate Radoslav in its entirety and the constant riding had left the both of you fatigued. So, when the both of you spotted smoke rising through the trees ahead, you welcomed the sight.
"Marka is just ahead," Ranstin states, half to himself. He gave his shaggy, black mare a few pats on the neck, which signaled the horse to slow its pace. |

(All good mate, I'd be a hypocrite and a half if I complained.)
Turvin perks his head up at Ranstin's words, looking up from the light brown mare's back to acknowledge the smoke in the distance. Signaling his mare to similarly slow down, Turvin stretches his back with a loud groan.
"I'll be happy to get out of this saddle, for sure." He replied with a nod. Marka... He thought of the name for a moment, unable to conjure any familiar sights to mind as he wondered about possible employment opportunities. |

"Myself included," Ranstin replies curtly, the two of you beginning to enter the small village of Marka as he spoke those words. Some odd glances were cast your way and a few scowls, however the general consensus was that of curiosity, as most tilted their head as you and your companion cantered by them.
"We'd best grab a room at the inn; it's sunset," Ranstin stated, dismounting his horse as the two of you reached the stables. He loosened his horse's saddles, giving the horse a few reassuring pats on the neck before turning to head toward the inn's door. |

(My bad on perspective changes here; Been a looking time since being a participant, rather than host, haha.)
"Ho, slow down Torrent." I say, slowing the mount down to a peaceful walk as we entered the village. Looking around in curiosity, I return most of the hateful glares with that of a bland, uninterested look. I'm used to this type of hate, people are often scared of what they don't understand. I didn't need their thanks; So long as there was trouble, and payment for getting rid of it, then that is all I care for.
"Sounds good. Think this little place has any swill worth drinking?" I asked, following Ranstin's stead and dismounting Torrent, the horse being named after Turvin's infamous anger. |

(Forgot to tell you; I let Z0rr0w choose so I think it's only fair if you were allowed the same opportunity.)
"I doubt it's any worse than that piss they served us at the Crossroads way back," Ranstin states, moving his tongue around his mouth in distaste at the thought. Once inside, Ranstin approached the innkeeper, speaking with the man curtly. After a few moments and the exchange of some crowns, Ranstin approached you once again.
"Shall we wait until morning to speak of your contract, or do we discuss it over a drink now?" Ranstin asks, taking a key from the Innkeeper and returning to you; he rented a room for the two of you. |

(Hmm, well, if sticking strictly to the original schools, I'd say Feline.Though I'd classify myself more as medium tiered.)
I couldn't help but to let out a slight grunt of distaste as memory of the foul ale came to mind. Horrible taste is only accepted if the drink is also potent. "Let's hope not."
Waiting patiently as Ranstin rented the room, I follow him as we take a seat. "Unless you have a better topic to enchant the evening." I reply with dry sarcasm. |

(If it suits you.)
"Well, I wish I did actually," he replied, motioning the innkeeper for two ales. "Your contract will have to do for now, though," he shrugs, setting both of his arms on the table. "In short, there are reports of brutal slaughters near the coastal villages, specifically the villages Eskaan and Ulon. While the slaughters are almost too brutal to be see as a human attack, I don't know of any sea monsters that could inflict such damage, at least from the depictions the client gave. We'll have to see it for ourselves, which is why we'll set out tomorrow at dawn. Eskaan is our first stop," Ranstin informs, the drinks conveniently arriving as soon as he was finished. |

Snickering slightly at the reply, I lean back in my seat comfortably as Ranstin debriefed me, arms crossed over my chest and just under the silver Feline medallion around my neck.
"Brutal costal slaughters, hm?" I respond, nodding at the figure bringing ale before then claiming my mug. "Too brutal to be typical Drowner attacks?" I then ask, almost fearful of the answer.
Drowners were no problem, though I've honestly read more about them than had actual firsthand contact. In truth, I hate water, especially deep water. If I can't see the bottom, who knows what's looking back up at me? |

| "I doubt it's a drowner attack; from the reports the client provided, the bodies were brutalized and left half-consumed. It's something else, I do fear," he said, taking a sip of the ale, grimacing at its taste. "The reward is 250 crowns for killing whatever is causing the mischief," Ranstin adds, talking of the reward. "I'm sure the pay can be negotiated though." |

Growing serious, I nod as I take another deep gulp of the ale. Not bad... Not good, by any means, but not like the swill I've been drinking lately. "So we're dealing with some sort of sea creature, presumably, with more strength than drowners." I say more than ask, a slight grimace forming as I consider the thought.
"Sounds fantastic... 250 is the offer, you say?" I then ask, pausing for a moment to think. Not a bad price for most Witchers, or rather standard, but gods do I hate water. "I suppose I have to see the problem before worrying about my pay, eh?" |

"It would seem so," Ranstin nods as you comment on what it could be. "I've seen many things in my albeit short time as a Witcher though, so I wouldn't be surprised were it something else," he adds, taking another drag of the ale.
"Yes. 250 crowns," Ranstin reciprocates, his amber eyes observing you. "As for pay, we'll negotiate once we arrive. After all, we're being hired as trackers for now; we're only meant to find what is causing the disturbance. Of course, if we can slay whatever is causing the disruptions, then we will pounce on the opportunity," Ranstin informs. |

"Let's hope so." I reply rather sullenly, muttering something about 'bloody water' and taking Feline ideals a little too much to heart. Slamming the rest of my drink, then looking back at Ranstin curiously.
"Trackers, hm?" I asked with a slight scoff. "Even if we end up seeing a dragon, I'm sure you'd have a hard time just turning around. This contract will end in blood, as they always do." I reply, quietly adding some words about hoping the blood won't be mine. |

| "Yes, trackers. No doubt blood will be shed, but if the monster flees it won't be our issue. Which is preferable, to say the least," Ranstin says, taking another drag of his drink. |

@benzo2 Have you told many people that your bad on perspective changes here; Been a looking time since being a participant, rather than host, haha? That is deep. Can you tell me any gossip? Saying that " Looking around in curiosity, HE return most of the hateful glares with that of a bland, uninterested look" is such anonsensical position that I refuse to waste my time on it. Everything is changing so quickly these days. Why didn't you do need their thanks; So long as there was trouble, and payment for getting rid of it, then that is all HE care for? Tell me more. Nameless is always thinking. Are you a student? jk I don't mean it
