| Manga (Japanese Comics) are not that good. Manga and anime are overrated art styles. There is nothing different between anime and comics aside from themes and the amount of content they allow in TV Y7 ratings. |

"Japanese comics > American comics"
False
List of stuff I regard as awesome:
Knights of the Old Republic
Watchmen
V for Vendetta
Star Wars: Legacy, Republic, Dark Times, and Empire
Spawn
Blade
Bone
Hellboy
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
Maus
There are better western comics than Eastern ones.

Those are good comics. This person seems like a newer reader. I would recommend something more easy. Watchmen and Maus are a little too advanced for a new reader. People need to build an appreciation for comics in order to appreciate all of the comics you've named. |

Yeah...no. The only "mature" thing you've read was the back of a Call of Duty game. When it comes to a mature comic, it primarily depends on the storyline. For example, let's discuss the late 80's Green Arrow series. Overall, it was pretty good. It's the primary source for the Arrow TV series. The comic had a "suggested for mature readers" imprint on each issue. Obviously, Green Arrow doesn't seem like a mature hero. When it comes down it, he's simply discount Batman. However, he isn't without his charm.
One comic would be Green Arrow issue 33 (1990). In this issue, Oliver Queen tackles the emotional impact of willingly killing the man who tortured Black Canary. The impact of death is a major theme in nearly every Green Arrow comic. Oliver and a woman argue over how he could bring himself to kill that person. Surely he deserved death, but he didn't have to die. The cover itself even portrays the internal conflict aspect of the series by portraying Green Arrow as being tortured. I have several other examples, but this one should suit the purpose. Now, do yourself a favor and read some real comics. |

| Indeimaus, do you actually read any AMERICAN comic books? I will admit anime and manga CAN be good, but they are overrated for what they actually are. |

| Super Heroes are a stupid idea compared to actually cool ideas like space wars fought with giant robot suits. |

Ok, I can see you're an immature weeb, there are immature weebs and mature weebs. Mature weebs can be more realistic about going to Japan, have more than two or three reasons why they'd want to go to Japan, and don't bash on western culture because it's not Japanese. I actually enjoy a lot a western things as well as Japanese things. I mean, Japan didn't make things like Star Wars, Doctor Who, or Helix (don't spoil Helix for me, I'm still at the beginning of the series.) Sure, Japan has SAO and Psycho-Pass, but Japanese things aren't the only things.

Everybody has their own opinion about sao. I'll leave it at that because I'm from rpf, and argumnents (especially about anime) can get pretty intense there, so I'll just leave it at that.
