I want to build a PC and I'm tired of the Xbone. Here is my current situation:
Current PC: HP Pavilion P7-1225 Game Capabilities: ROBLOX, Runescape, Heartstone, etc etc. Budget for Parts: $800 USD (Can be increased with the sale of the Pavilion)
That's pretty much all I have to say on this. I don't need help with parts. I'm only curious as to how much I could get off the Pavilion to increase my spending power. Thanks in advance. |

I think it would earn you about 200 if you sell it right on Ebay or whatever.
Give or take, that is.

save up to like 1200 and build a pc that'll last you for new generations of games to come
a pc is a good investment, but a bad one if done poorly |

@pro bbt's right, he asked how much he'd get for the pc
@op if you cleaned the pc up and maybe put some new fans or a cheap graphics card to crossfire with the a8 you could get $250-$300
it's still a capable pc |

If you wish to Play in 4K, The current gen Resolation, at 60 FPS, prepare to Shell out 3k+ at the least. I am Sorry.

100$ for scrap on the computer
maybe less
800$, providing you have a kb + m, monitor, etc would get you a locked haswell i5 and an r9 390 provided you're part of the budget ram master race, can wait for deals, etc

additionally, if you can scrounge about 125$ off the old computer you could get an unlocked i5 and a z97 board on the cheapy-deepy
