2D - Two Dimensional; Two Dimensional measures Length x Width.
Two Dimensional is what this text is; it is flat as paper, and you can not see the sides of it/around it.
3D - Three Dimensional; Three Dimensional measures Length x Width x Depth.
Three Dimensional is what you are; you can see all around the object. |

3D logo has depth to it, imagine comparing the painting to a sculpture.
The undefeated King sings aloud the name of the miracle she holds in her hands. |

Everyone keeps explaining it. 2d logo would only have Height x Length a 3d logo has 3 axis's (Height x Length x Width) |

A 3D logo would be a logo like Minecraft's, or ROBLOX's 3D logo render.

| 3d logo is commonly referred to as a rendered image, these rendered images are used usually in 3d modeling softwares such as blender. You can export roblox files to blender and then render them in blender to make a much more appealing and proffesional logo, a benefit to this is you can edit it in 3d which removes the hastle of recapturing and editing in 2d. 3D logos also look much more realistic and react to light better. |

2d image: http://t6.rbxcdn.com/d292f8b17d630a750dd3f8bdc5c943e9
3d image: http://s3.postimg.org/9l2mn51pg/knife_04_1000_6_16_10m_z3_05.png (note that this image is reflecting to light and is much more realistic than the 2d image, also keep in mind that it is not acutally real. |
