Square Enix said it will be released in episodes, but each episode will be a full-length game. I'm hoping this means they're taking each disc from the original, expanding the story and releasing them as separate games.
What would you all like to see in the remake? Discuss below. |

oh yeah cloud looks really weird in the remake + the gameplay mechanic has gone from turn-based to whatever the heck you call that
still looks fun though

| Cloud is sick from Mako poisoning in the beginning of FFVII, so that's how he's supposed to look. I just started playing the original again and Tifa mentions that Cloud looks tired. |

yeah dude i have the game on my pc he just looks weak and sickly sickly makes sense, because of the mako energy mixing with jenova cells but i dont understand why he looks so... weak

| I agree that he does look a little scrawny, but that's how he looked in the artwork as well. |

to me in the artwork he always looked a bit more buff, and his main spike of hair is a bit smaller luckily though, they toned barret down too, but they gave him shades in a city where there is no sun
|

Yeah, but they toned his spiky hair down in Crisis Core and Advent Children as well. Perhaps his appearance will change throughout the game? |

they did it in AC to make cloud look more 'mature' i have no clue why in CC, maybe to make him look less mature

I think they changed his hair so it looked more plausible and less cartoony.
As for Barret's shades, well... I don't even know what to say about that. |

| From what they showed of the combat, it looks a lot like Crisis Core's combat with a mix of FF12's. It's piqued my interest, at least. 12 had a great combat system. |

| It could be like Eternal Sonata's combat. It was turn-based, but you could still move around and act within a time limit before the turn ended. |

| I doubt it. I'm betting the first episode will end right as Cloud falls down after they blow up the second Mako reactor. Second episode could probably go up until the Sector 7 plate is dropped. Third ends just as they get out of Midgar and into the bigger world. |

| It's gonna be like Crisis Core except split into episodes. It's also probably going to be rushed because of FF XV and KH III |
