Before I ask this question I am not taking sides with anyone and I will remain as unbaised as I can.
I am just curious on why you support Bernie? Try and sell me the main points and upsides to Bernie Sanders becoming the next president of the United States. Keep it short though I don't feel like reading 20 paragraphs.

| I don't support anyone currently, but Bernie seems to be the only one that doesn't put on an act. |

"there really is no good candidate, he's just the least worst."
That's it? Only reason you support him? You could just not vote at all if you're not to fond if anyone running up. |

Because his plans are the most sound at fixing the problems that our country is currently expiriencing.
He supports a minimum wage raise, he supports free healthcare, and he supports free CC's and affordable college after that.
One of the biggest issues in our country right now is our disappearing middle class and how hard it is for those in the lower classes to affordably go to college, get a degree, and get those higher paying jobs(Hence, why a majority of our population is just under or far below the poverty line)
It's in my belief that his plan will do the most good for our economy and for the middle class. |

Also Bernie Sanders is in no way making us full blown communist. He's only incorporating socialist systems into our economy. An economy which. by the way, was never fully capitalist to begin with.
The US is Capitalist-Socialist. We've been incorporating socialist systems for decades now, many of which you will benefit off of in your life time(See social security benefits, federal Minimum wage, FAFSA grants, Welfare, and the list goes on). |

I am a little confused on some of this so if you could help answer my questions on a few of your points that'd be great. So first off you said
"He supports a minimum wage raise, he supports free healthcare, and he supports free CC's and affordable college after that."
If minimum wage rises wont the prices of pretty much everything on the market rise as well making current money worth less? How will doctors get payed if there is free healthcare?? |

Bernie has good but unrealistic goals. But at least he'd work towards them.
Trump is a good businessman but at the same time his attitude will put all of the lower class people out of business and out of a home. His methods are good, but at the same time would run a lot of people into the ground.

^ Economists have crunched the numbers, and a raise to, say, 15 dollars an hour, which is the current calculated rate that would provide those in the more expensive states a living wage would only lead to price raises that for the most part will be well under a dollar.
Secondly, free health care would be government funded, clearly. Loads of countries such as Canada already incorporate systems like this and I can assure you that their doctors are paid. |

@Last. Spot on.
I don't think Bernie is going to meet all of his goals in office but I think he's a wonderful stepping stone towards those goals. He's even stated himself that it's unlikely that he can realistically give us all of this, and I appreciate that honestly. |

Also something else I would like to add regarding the raising of prices.
It's going to happen regardless of a minimum wage raise. It's been rising steadily over the last 5 years and we've only had a raise in the last 8 months.
This is why a minimum wage raise is essential, to keep the minimum wage a basic living wage. Likelyhood is that over time, after we're raised to 15 dollars an hour, inflation will see to it that the prices will raise further beyond that. And if we keep minimum wage at 10 an hour we're only going to keep preventing most of our population from getting into colleges and getting betters jobs, we're only going to keep killing our economy and we're only going to keep killing our middle class. Eventually it will hit the point it did in the '20's, where the minimum wage is amazingly low when compared to market prices, which, back then, helped contribute to the depression.
Minimum wage raises that raise with inflation are crucial to our country. |

Just a note, you're wrong on something Romulus.
The minimum wage is 7.25, not 10. 10 would be something, I dunno, liveable.

^ Sorry, forgot the federal wasn't 10 yet. My bad.
In my area at least the min. wage is 10(I actually live in the most expensive area in the US right now, or it was 4 months back, not sure where it stands now.), and I can tell you from experience, if I wasn't living with my parents AND wasn't receiving FAFSA grants I could not under any circumstances be attending college, and it almost certainly wouldn't be a living wage(For my area at least)
For the midwest, yeah, I can definitely see 10 being liveable. |

For one, Bernie is more liberal and left. The United States has not had a liberal/left President, and at the current state, we need one.
Bernie wants free medicare for every single Citizen of the United States, and he wants to make sure the government can pay for it like it does in Scandinavia.
Free college tuition.
Wants to break up the corrupted banks such as Wall Street.
The only candidate that has not been corrupted by money, donors, billionaires/millionaires.
Has been in political service for almost 40 + years.
Civil rights activist during the 1960's
Must I say more?

No. A short term rise, but long term it stabilizes.

depending on supply and demand and the cost of living plus the cost of paying people higher wages for jobs that would have normally been 10 now have to be 15 to meet the same amount of quality to them. programs like company insurance and such will have issues with staying same with 401ks people would have to be cut from the business for sure and that will always be first the lowest link.
It would affect a lot to go from 7.25 to 10 bucks, if over a period of 10 years we raised the minimum wages to at least 8 dollars with a 25 cent increase per every 4 years this would give companies to stabilize and structure the company to handle 8 dollars. the minimum wage should of increased years ago but 10 dollars is not going to be what we need universally because the dollar is still worth something in places like the south. |

sorry im a little late, but i just gotta dissect this
"He supports a minimum wage raise, he supports free healthcare, and he supports free CC's and affordable college after that."
>raise minimum wage while it sounds great, and gets a lot of supporters, this is actually very destructive to an economy. high minimum wages are exactly why jobs are getting outsourced and humans are being replaced with robots. >free healthcare boy nothing is free havent you learned that yet? not even public school is free! >free CC's im assuming this is credit cards, in which i am highly confused on what this is supposed to accomplish >affordable college affordable PUBLIC COLLEGE; ya know, the places that only cost about 5 grand a year to attend? |
