Well, first of all I must say I use to be a CS:GO addict. Now a days, not so much. However I do still play the games sometimes, though I'm not as good. When I was an addicted I mean it to Guardian. After the ranking system update I'm only a Silver 1. I do want to discuss why do people hate CS:GO so much. I mean the game is kinda basic, and becomes more boring in competitive without friends. However, it's a skill based game. Your average Call of Duty player that comes onto CS:GO will get demolished in a matter of minutes. That is what makes CS:GO special. It requires skill, if I had to pull a number out of my head I'd say at least 85% of games out there don't require a lot of skill, some might require a little, but not enough to where you have to commit to the game to improve your ranking, and skill.
How do you feel about the game? |

I think the reason why people hate cs:go is because of its huge skill gap, if you've never played an fps before, you can understand the game quicker, but if you've played a call of duty before and then move to cs:go, you kinda have to "Unlearn" the gameplay mechanics you've been playing with in cod/bf and relearn new mechanics that some may be uncomfortable about.

| It does, but you can easily go out and kill your enemies on your 2nd or 3rd try of the game. |

| Not good for tactical gamers. Get Insurgency instead. |

| ^ I play both games, and it's technically the opposite. |

I don't think that's very bad
you don't want to make a game that's brutally difficult every time the person plays it |

by all means i don't hate csgo. but the community is so toxic it's unbelievable. when volvo nerfed the spray i kinda cried a bit but they fixed it. it's the community that kills it for me.
now, i'm an mg1 right now, making my way back up from that derank stuff. and i have to say the players are getting more and more toxic as it progresses. i come into the game "hey team how we doing today" and get bombarded by hate and flame.
overall if the community could learn that everyone is really there to have fun in one way or another and get along that would make it a much nicer place to be. |
