It is so painful. The pacer test gets faster and faster every lap. I feel like the girls have an advantage

the pacer test is an evil test in physical education class where everyone runs from one side of the gym to the other side before the beep. As you go on, the beeps start coming sooner, so eventually instead of getting to the other side and waiting for the beep, the beep will come as soon as you get there. (When you hear the beep, that's when you run back). If you don't get to the other side before the beep, you're out. The point of the test is to see how long you can go before you give up.

| How do the girls have an advantage? Males have greater lung capacity... |

| In 8th grade I ran a 100 20m pacer. For tryouts for highschool soccer they ran a pacer test and I hit 200 there. |

| there is no limit to the pacer test. Gym classes have time limits and there are different disks that are sold. I only finished top five anyway, three varsity members ran above me. |

Girls don't have the advantage, they are physically different so they generally preform worse than males.
And it isn't hard at all, you can get a 60 with a jogging pace lol. I did this throughout elementary school, middle school, and I did it twice this year. I'm done with it now though.

| I never really gave it my all, so I got an 80. Our teachers would put it in as a formal grade and usually an 80 was an 100. |

When I first started off in elementary school I honestly wasn't that good to tell you the truth, I think in 3rd grade the most I got was probably like 18 or 19. However, by the time I got to 8th grade (I didn't play football that year. Both my parents were busy and couldn't support me being at practices and games, etc) and I was in PE, I got some ridiculously good (for me) score like about 86-87 or something, which was pretty good because I've always been overweight-near-obese.
The key to the pacer test is not speed but rather endurance. |

| i took it every semester in middle school because it was required. it's easy if you know what you're doing; you can almost walk the first few parts. |

yes, basically everybody has to do the pacer
i'm pretty sure you are also required to do pushups, situps, and stretching tests depending on what state you live in
i was always in the last group of dudes running but i never was the last one, if i had to guess i would probably say i maxed out around 80. my cardio was never that good
situps everybody basically always maxed because we were in 8th grade and everybody had ridiculous core muscles and no weight on their otherwise frail bodies
pushups most people got like 10 and quit, i was very proud to get to 30 and win one time |
