3 hats became way too boring for some of us Robloxians i want ya'll to change the hat limit to 5 :D

but seriously more hats would be awesome but roblox seems to be very against the idea.

cause ya know

people wearing 5 million hats, dropping them in a server, and leaving.

people already rek servers with the three hats.

masterdude is right, people would have a lot of hats and drop it on servers, it would make a big mess of course.

I mean they ALREADY do that, like I said, and three is a lot of hats, with a couple people pitching in you could slow down a server, which is why I find some games instantly remove dropped hats when they're taken off. But five would make this stuff so much easier it would actually hurt me.

Ikr? Someone above said 3 hats can already wreck servers, wtf are you talking about? The engine is optimized to handle over 30,000 parts and you think 3 is wrecking servers?

Like I said, it IS a big issue, it causes tons of lag and can be used to just wreck servers.

There are some devs who make okay-ish games (shedletsky) but don't care to update their games at all (sfothiv) or really use any effort such as making a script to destroy hats, even though many people do that. As not everyone can script, this is clearly abusable, which is why I think they're so against multiple hats. But maybe it's another reason, but dropping hats is still a large problem with wearing tons of hats, this was super bad when people would easily glitch to wear tons and tons of hats. far beyond three or five if they planned on abusing it, back when you could only wear one, which is harder to do now.

Let's say that there are 50 people in a server. If each person is wearing 3 hats, that's 3 * 50 = 150. 150 meshes for Roblox to load at any one time. If you increase the limit to 5 hats, that's 5 * 50 = 250. 250 meshes for Roblox to load.

That'll be too much lag.
