I know, I pretty much never post ISRP requests. In fact, the last one I posted was... Well, I can't find the thread (a google search for "ISRP request timpookie ROBLOX" only gives me one relevant link, and that is http://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=150210592), but I know it was over a year ago; at least when I was Timpookie and not Eikoopmit. Regardless, I have two ideas for ISRPs that I want to do, but I want to be the person on the player's end this time around and not the one managing the ISRP.
In advance of stating the requests that I have I would like to first put forth some rules that I have about this request, and additional incentive for people to do it adequately. First, I'd like the person who makes the ISRP to be active and willing to commit an indefinite number of years, hopefully months, to the ISRP. I know that I myself am willing to commit that amount of time to a good RP or ISRP; in fact, I once did the same RP for a year and a half before it was destroyed by a spambot and the mods, so there's no need to worry about me abandoning it. Second, as added incentive, for every 25 pages that transpire on the RP, you will be entitled to 100 posts worth of free things from my writing commissions thread on Purring's website (http://somewherenothere.freeforums.net/thread/69/writing-commissions). All 25 pages must be up for you to get the reward (i.e. no quitting after 13 pages and expecting 52 posts worth of free stuff). You do not need to spend all 100 "free posts" immediately nor at once, and it works for any story, RP or ISRP other than the one that you're making for me here. The "free posts" are accumulative up to 500 "free posts" that you have not yet used, by which point the number will no longer increase. I'll keep note of the "free posts" that are used and maintain a public record for all to see.
I also expect a certain quality of ISRP. I can and will abandon the ISRP if you indicate that you are unwilling to do this with a certain level of quality. It doesn't necessarily have to be up to the standards to which I uphold myself to, but it has to be good enough that people here would generally consider you decent. This is so that a crappy writer doesn't take advantage of the rewards that I put in place and pretend to be a better RPer than they are later when they buy a bio or whatever from me.
Anyway, my two requests both follow relatively similar structures and themes, so if you can catch onto the relatively obvious underlying theme here, kudos to you.
The first one is a high fantasy ISRP taking place in a tolkien-esque, D&D-esque fantasy world with magic and swords and elves and dwarves (and all that typical stuff). The world should be mostly unexplored, with almost otherwise unconnected regions having their own stuff to do and all of the otherwise unconnected regions being separated by oceans or mountain ranges or deserts or magic stuff. There should also be no abundance of ancient evils (be it evil gods locked away for an eternity, demons, undead or anything else you can think of). The ISRP would be a free-roam in which I'd play as a wandering adventurer going from place to place and fighting ancient evil things. I'd likely revisit a number of places as well, if you need some recurring NPCs to make it not so boring. The RP wouldn't start at the very beginning of the character's adventuring career, but the character certainly wouldn't have faced down any powerful ancient evils by then - maybe the character fought some bandits on occasion before or something.
The second one would be a sci-fi ISRP taking place in a foundation-esque, star wars-esque universe akin to my earlier ISRP "The Galaxy" (http://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=158778757) in which humans have conquered the entire galaxy and the entire galactic government is ridiculously corrupt, slow and bureaucratic and the entire law is in the hands of corrupt local governments and large organized criminal organizations that are powerful enough to rival the power of some entire cities. The character would probably play as a freelance smuggler or bounty hunter or something like that working for various criminal organizations and travelling from place to place or the character could be a member of a secretive organization routinely going to foreign planets in faraway star systems for mysterious missions that the character himself doesn't even know the reasons for. All morals in this ISRP should be shades of grey. Once again, the character shouldn't be a highly experienced person in his field, but he should have a job or two under his belt.
For both RPs, I'd like to make some more requests as well. First, I'd like to request a recurring cast of NPCs from "adventure" to "adventure". That means people who are allies and employers would reappear from time to time, but also people who are antagonistic could appear on more than one occasion. However, I don't want a standard cast of NPCs who are always there; I want the character to be something of an unattached drifter. Second, I don't want any overarching storyline; I want it to be open-ended, with everyone having their own goals and motivations and with there being no "main villain for the entire ISRP". There can be recurring villains, or shady organizations that are the subject of multiple adventures for whom the leader will only be revealed after several adventures involving them, but I don't want the same villain or allies for the entire ISRP. Third, I don't want to do an origin story for my character; I want to start off pretty much immediately after where an origin story would have ended. |

| Geez, this forum is dead. It's nearly midnight where I live, meaning that it must be nearly noon on the east coast of the US by now. Based on that I would have expected this to either have lots of replies by now or be off the first page; as it is, the forum has been dormant for hours. |

It's almost 4pm here in England.
And I might take you up on your request, tim, though I migjt not be very good as I've never really had any experience doing ISRPs.
And if I was to make it, I hope you don't mind that I'll also make a character for it as well. |

You don't know what an ISRP is, do you? |

Damn. This reminded me of a ISRP I really wanted. It was based in 19th century and is basically the countries of Europe fighting eachother. |

| Thank you for finding that typo, SIack, but even taking that into account I think that the point I was attempting to make is obvious. |

I could create an Inquisition Reborn storyline for you, if you'd like. (Sent you notes about it a couple months back.)
I think that qualifies enough as high fantasy, and also goes with your request of recurring party members/allies. |

I've been rather finicky about who I accept, but if I recall, you mentioned being unfamiliar with the series, thus, yer perfect. |

| That particular ISRP isn't what I was requesting on this thread. It looks like a good ISRP in it's own right, which I will probably join some time, but it's not quite what I requested on this thread. It appears to have a structured storyline and a definitive endpoint (maybe it'll be a significant while, but it is clear that there will be one), which are two things that I want an ISRP to not have at the moment. |

| 117 views and still nobody confirmed that they're willing to make this. I assume it's safe to say that this won't happen? |

| Ahh, I accidentally glanced over that statement, it appears. I see it now, and aye, you're absolutely correct about the definitive end point. (Though, depending upon how you complete the storyline, it would be considered endless.) It doesn't become clear for quite some time, but the goal /is/ there. |

| All the recent events seem to be closely related, leading me to therefore suspect that they're related to the endpoint as well. And Birm, you can at least try to be active and see what happens from there. If you lose interest and activeness you can always motivate yourself by the free stuff that I offer every 25 pages. |

| Birm is considering making one of the ISRPs for me, so, depending on what he decides, this offer may be taken as of now. |
