| There is no "conversion to meters" in Roblox. Instead, you should build things according to the scale of the player, which is 5 studs tall. Also, this may be the wrong forum. |

The average person is about 1.7 meters tall, or in ROBLOX, 5 studs. Some math, 1 Stud = 1.7/5 = 0.34 meters, so if you wanted to round for say, 1 meter is 3 studs. :) |

Your math is wrong. 1 meter = 20 studs. |

| Well, think of it this way. Build something 20 studs high and stand next to it with your Robloxian character. Now, tell me, does that scaling feel like when you stand next to a meter stick in real life? |

Think whatever you want, Roblox never said Characters were to scale. They did, however, give us the value of gravity and the actual conversion unit.

Idc what they gave us, He's asking for a correct scale, and the only way to scale it correctly is to compare it to the character (point of perspective).
3 Studs = 1 meter |

| Nope, you're wrong. The correct scale is 1m = 20 studs, characters are not as tall as real life people. If you read anything I've said then you would have realized I already said this, or are you illiterate? |

| I said it's about the point of perspective (the character), So POINT BEING. This is about the comparison of characters and real life. OK. 3 studs 1 meter ty, get out. |

He's not asking about your "point of perspective" crap, he's asking "Remind me guys, what are the conversion rates?" of "Meters to studs"
Not "what does it look like" but what it ACTUALLY is. |

I think I'll agree with AlexanderLua :)
To be honest, the OP didn't specify if they meant from a wiki page or not. |

Tbh, cnt had it right, I need the actual conversion rate. I can scale everything down later if I need to.

Roblox's gravity: 196.2 studs/s^2 Earth's gravity: 9.81 meters/s^2
So if we want to figure out meters per stud, we simply divide these two values like so:
9.81/196.2 = 0.05 meters/stud
So that's 5 centimeters per stud. 100 centimeters are in one meter. So.. 100/5 = 20 studs
As usual, cntkillme is right. |
