..But how creative you are at what you do with it. I've seen many creations, done with such simple scripts a 9 year old could achieve it, that far outmatch complex things done by those who know it all, in terms of fun, creativity, and various other things.
Truly, it's not the size of your scripting knowledge that matters.. it's how you use it. |

You are implying that being good at scripting may include not being creative. I'd say the definition of a good scripter is one that comes up with creative solutions to problems.
So really, it IS about how good you are at scripting. I think what you mean is that it doesn't always matter how much advanced knowledge you have, so long as you can come up with innovative things with basic skills. |

Someone go hunt down a stolen Deadzone game and show it to OP.
Seriously, that game is completely hard-coded, and the main script takes up so much memory that if you add two hundred more characters, the game experiences loading errors. The whole game is totally exploitable, pretty much everything is managed in LocalScripts, and so forth.

@Contrary +1
@OP If you weren't good at scripting then you wouldn't be able make creative solutions. @OP Why did you feel the need to post this useless thread? |
