I speak fluent spanish in my household, it's alike in some parts, but then in some vowels and words it sounds french

no.. just no.. basque doesn't have any relationship to french or spanish in terms of language, it's a local language from likes thousands of years, not latin

they were a native group of people, and so when the roman empire (latin) arrives, they forced them to be locked and their culture was just isolated between that little area, so a lot of independence groups exist in basque area
