Google Translate is good for single words, and even simple sentences. However, when you try anything with the pronoun 'you', you're screwed if you don't know the diferente between "tú" and "usted", which differ in degrees of formality and little other things. And while "tú" is only singular, "usted" can be converted into the plural "ustedes". Google Translate can't tell the tone of the sentence.
And in general is just bad if you don't have a small understanding of the language you're trying to speak/read. |
