| its the same elsewhere, except they aren't publicized because the mainstream media wants to maintain the idea that the United States is the only place this stuff happens. |

While mass killings are definitely present elsewhere, there's absolutely no denying that out of all developed countries, the US has these much more than anyone else.
The reason it's on the news so much is because it's much more shocking for mass shootings or bombings to happen in a developed country like the States, as opposed to wartorn crapholes like Afghanistan and Iraq. |

Too bad those 5 countries combined had 8 mass shootings from 2009-2013 compared to 371 in 2015 in the USA.

18 happened in Chicago, Detroit had 7, and Cleveland had 4.
That's a combined 29 of the 371 shootings or less than 8% of the mass shootings in all of 2015.
