I'm creating a baseball game that has a 24/7 public league system in it. Whenever you first join the game, you will be a free agent and a giant screen will pop up allowing you to sign for any MLB team. Once you have chosen your team, you are required to stay with that team until the end of the season. So if you have chosen Detroit Tigers as your main team, you can still play public matches with different teams such as the Blue Jays, mets, etc. However, every time you win a game, your points will only go to your main team so if you win a game playing for the blue jays, your winning points will actually be given to the Tigers. The CPU will automatically start the season & end the season and automatically place the top teams into the world series and start/end the world series, theres currently 3 team trophies you can win, the World Series, the NL division & the AL division. You can also get player awards such as the best player of that season (most HRs, RBIs, pitching stats, etc,) will get the MVP. Your awards will not go forgotten, every award you win will be placed onto your stats for everybody to see.
This will be the first ever RO-Sport game to have a fully functioning public league completely ran by the computer that is online 24/7 and has matches 24/7, all you need to do for your team to get points is to get online and win games. The computer will do everything by itself, it will start/end the league by itself, it will give player & team awards by itself and it will start the world series tournament at the end of the season.
I've actually been working on this for a while now and it's around 60% finished, will be released sometime within this month or early next month. What do you think? |

thanks guys and no.
theres 2 different divisions american league & national league.
the top 4 teams from each division enter the playoffs at the end of the season and the winners of each bracket will eventually reach the world series just like in real life.
sorry it's really hard to explain XD |

Game is mostly finished, already finished most of the scripting and gameplay related things. Just need to finish the stadium, work on the game lighting & graphics and put together everything and the game will be released. EST release date. January 25, 2016 - Feb 4, 2016. |

| thats a great idea, allowing players to create their own teams, make their teams public or invite-only and also allow the players to choose their own teams logos by inserting their own decal IDs. I will definitely do that in the future but it's unlikely that I will add that right now because I really want to release this game and test this league system out. |

almost finished tools.
Pitching tool is used by keys. Theres a key for a fast ball, curve ball, slider, fake
Bat tool is also used by keys theres a key for a whack theres a key for a bunt and theres a key for a full swing
you literally just press the key and it will do it by itself. |

| Sounds really good, if it comes out half as good as I can imagine, it will still be addicting and fun. |

"but sports city dood"
Honestly, shouldn't even be counted as baseball. Also he started making this before that game came out. Anyways the sports city one is so bad, it doesn't have force outs. You get reset every out. And you have no true position. This one has all of that. It even has AI's to play the easy position such as 1B. This one will be so much better, the other one is okay but not as good as this one will be.

ty for the compliments. Right now I'm trying to find a good method for the pitcher.
Theres different types of pitches you can do for example curveball, fast ball, sinkers, I've already made these pitches.
but I dont know if I should use a MLB the show method where you need to time the pitch in the middle. It might get confusing for players. Any ideas on how I can test the pitcher? |
