Bots have been going around different forums posting suspiscious links.
WARNING: THESE ARE IP LOGGERS! DO NOT CLICK. IT USES A SCRIPT IN THE WEBSITE THAT MAILS THE IP OF THE CLICKER TO THE PERSON THAT LINKED YOU TO THE THREAD!
Do NOT (AND I MEAN NOT) click on any links beginning with hondachat or bwog.
For example do not click on anything like this:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.hondachat.com/showthread.php?t=IDekJOF2nWykfOJn2 http://www.bvog.com/?post=IDekJOF2nWykfOLaq- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It shows up as an error page to make it look like the page is down, but once you have clicked, your IP is in a stranger's hands.
Click at your OWN risk! |

With your IP, they can get pretty much all your info using various sites.
Such as your ISP, operating system, location, etc. |

@muffinzs
assuming you have a static ip you'll have to call ur isp to change it
if you have a dynamic ip you should be able to change it just by unplugging and plugging back ur router

First off, I have used the IPLOGGER once before on my friend who lives across the United States, and it is so off with location. Sure, it says your IP, but they can't do much with that. I mean, if you can see the IP of a local StarBucks when you connect to their free WiFi, then what's the big deal? It's not like anybody messes with you. Really, all they can do is use that as intimidation against you.

@Muffinzs Go up to your mother and tell her to unplug the back of the router for you.
That's how you chnage your wifi.

well maybe you have a dynamic ip possibly
look at your ip now (just search up "my ip address" on google and it'll pop up), then unplug your router for 15 seconds, and plug it back in again
wait for it to turn on completely and check if ur ip changed

| It would make life much easier if you just made a website using $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] |

I have dynamic IP, so when I reset my router, my IP address changes, so the old IP becomes dead and can't be tracked.
This is how I had it explained to me by a few different people anyway. |
