Superheroes are taking over the world! Wait a second, isn't that the opposite of what they're supposed to do? It's Watchmojo Jojo here bringing you another boring post that you guys will enjoy anyways. Why? Because you're reading it already! Isn't that nice?!? Sometimes, superheroes aren't so super. All Hawkeye jokes aside, some superheroes are super. They just don't always look that way in pop-culture. Today, we're counting down the top ten heroes who need a reboot. So, let's get started!
#10-Supergirl: Watching any episode of Supergirl is like hiring DrAwsomeMonkey to rip apart tin foil with his bare hands in slow motion. It's simply agony. From her constant complaining about some irrelevant issue all the way down the terribly choreographed fight sequences. Pretty much like this forum. Ha ha! I made a funny. Time for me to quit my day job. Anyways, Supergirl has been given a pretty bad run already. They're relying on The Flash, the same TV show CBS rejected because they thought it would suck, to crossover with Supergirl, who does suck. I guess we'll have to wait and see how that pans out.
#9-Space Ghost: It's okay, no one remembers him. Space Ghost looks like Batman with Superman's face and John Cena's body. Sort of like how Builderman views himself. Anyways, Space Ghost is a blank canvas. He's only had two TV shows (well over 20 years ago) and had a successful run in his short 2005 series. Since DC Comics is rebooting the Hannah-Barbara cartoons, Space Ghost should be first in line to be rebooted.
#8-Martian Manhunter: Martian Manhunter is pretty much 'the other guy.' You guys remember the Justice League? What about the weird guy standing behind them? You know, kind of like the weird guy at Blox-Mart who constantly smells the clearance bread? I must be alone on this one. Anyways, Martian Manhunter could really use a reboot. He's a very powerful hero who has a thick lineage behind him. What's not to like?
#7-Swamp Thing: Swamp Thing is a long forgotten DC character that only us basement dwellers know about. I bet you really wish you were a basement dweller, now don't you? Swamp Thing was the main driving force for DC's Vertigo series of comics. You know, the ones only the big kids can read. He was the launching platform for John Constantine and is seemingly connected to pretty much every popular DC character. He also had a cool cameo in Arkham Knight, so hell yeah! Since DC's launching their Rebirth series, why not give good ol' Swampy a new beginning?
#6-Man-Thing: Man-Thing is what would happen if you dumped glue all over Kevin James and had him roll around the back seat of Christina Aguilera's car. Man-Thing, in all seriousness, is a very powerful creature of Marvel Comics. He guards the Nexus of All Reality. In case you don't know, the Nexus is a tag-team who invaded the WWE like a flock of confused parakeets. I'm just joking, the Nexus of All Reality is a portal that leads you to any dimension in the MCU. Even dimensions between dimensions. It's actually quite important. Marvel should seriously reboot this kid.
#5-Spider-Man: I know what you guys are thinking. Why would I, Mojo Jojo, put Spoder-Man on my list? Well, it's simple. Because I feel like it. Anyways, Spider-Man could really use a reboot. Why? Because he sucks nowadays. Look at him. All he does is cry, lace up his boots, beat someone up, Jack, cry repeat. Plus, Marvel refuses to acknowledge Spider-Man is secretly made out of spaghetti and gum drops. Why the hell won't they admit that already? In all seriousness, overexposure has killed Pete. He hasn't had a good movie since 2004 and his new actor looks like the weird product of Grant Gustin and Ben Stiller morphing together.
#4-Superman: Yes, Super-Freak over here needs a reboot. Man of Still was like watching Jack Sparrow and Edward Scissor hands dress up like Taylor Swift, fall on each other and die in slow motion. If you've imagined that scene, you can see that what I actually meant was that it was BEYOND CRINGE-WORTHY. Superman is best portrayed as a slightly broken character who does what he needs to do to protect the world, and despite all of this, will never be accepted as a human being. Let's hope that his reboot will capture that.
#3-Shazam: It's quite obvious why he's here. Any superhero named after a music player should be instantly rebooted. Shazam has been relegated to being that hero who's just there. He's like Pee-Wee Herman. A person who everyone remembers yet forgets, yet we see him all the time in the freezer section. Shazam has been nothing but trouble for DC Comics. They've been to court three times over him and can't fully use him due to his history. Even in the new 52, he's pretty much useless. After Convergence, DC should realize how important Shazam really is and give him a really good reboot.
#2-Green Lantern: Oh boy...this one does not need a description.
Honorable Mentions: The Hulk Cable Fantastic Four Gambit Raven Cyborg Hawkeye
#1-Aquaman: Water boy here needs a really good reboot. It's gotta be hard to go out in public just being Aquaman. I mean look at him. He looks like Channing Tatum got hit by a milk truck and thrown into Captain D's. Aquaman has probably had it worse than any superhero. That says a lot, especially since Howard the Duck and The Hulk exist. Aquaman is best portrayed in a setting that blends old school politics in a modern day setting and portrays him as a powerful ruler and interesting enough character to invest in. Let's just hope his solo film doesn't make Aquaman suck again.
That's all folks! Like what ya read? Comment. If not, that'll be $20.00 |

I don't think any superhero shows should get rebooted after TTG.

| TTG isn't a reboot. It's a parody. It's stupid, to be honest. Everyone on TTG needs a big fat reboot after that series. |

I didn't know Johnny was a Supergirl fan.
It is I, Watchmojo Jojo. I write posts that are clear and concise! That means that I, Watchmojo Jojo, do not beat around the bush. I post things boldly and without riddle. Because I, Watchmojo Jojo, want to make a point. Points are sharp and intact, like the posts that I write. Because I, Watchmojo Jojo, always debate important issues. |

| I think Aqualad is better, but I have respect for Aquaman. Injustice nailed him. |

| Johnny, if you like Supergirl that much then just admit it. It's perfectly fine to be a fan-girl. Just don't be one of Hawkeye, okay? |

in a way thats coherent and not littered with filler?
you could probably cut off about half of this and it would still be a really bland and unorganized "article"
id probably practice my writing before trying to get people interested in stuff like this |
