| That's right, the steel, because steel is heavier then feathers. |

this question doesn't make sense both of them would weigh the same because they're both 1 kilogram you will just need less steel because it's more dense

If you said something like density, that would be interesting.

| it's the feathers because you also have to carry the weight of what you did to those poor birds |

steel is much more dense than feathers meaning you need less steel to get 1 kilogram

Well, considering feathers need more space, therefore a taller pile, and the higher up you go the less the gravitational force, so steel, because a kilogram of feathers cannot equal a kilogram of steel.
A strange game. The only winning move is not to play. |

1 kilogram of steel
[][][][][][] etc.
1 kilogram of feathers
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| etc.
there's a different total amount of steel and feathers but both of them total up to 1 kilogram in weight. it doesn't matter which one is heavier when you compare them together. The steel would be heavier if you specified an AMOUNT and not a WEIGHT. such as, there are 5 blocks of steel and 5 feathers. Which is heavier?
Do you understand? |

redlego would be right assuming that the feathers aren't condensed or the steel isn't a rod going up into the air
mass ~= weight |
