So what is RDS? Roblox Developer Services, or RDS, is a quite complicated and intricate anti-exploit system.
What does it do? Well, RDS does several things, but to put it on a basic level, it allows anyone to call a specially trained moderator in the event of an exploiter.
Where does this moderator come from? Roblox Developer Services is actually a group on Roblox who created the RDS System. Members of this group are interviewed and trained to become a moderator. The training process has five levels; each level requires the moderator to be trained three times in order to move onto the next level. When the training process completed this moderator then watches over a list of calls that request a moderator to come. Once a new call appears he/she goes to that server from which that call came from and assists them with their exploiter problem.
How do I know these moderators can be trusted? The moderators from RDS, as I said before, have been specially trained and interviewed to deal with exploiters. Their training process is so complex that it wouldn’t even be worth it to go all this way to create mischief. I personally trust them and I believe you should too.
How do I know someone’s an RDS moderator? If you don’t believe they are moderators just ask them to say ;verify and the RDS logo will appear over their heads if they are RDS moderators.
Are RDS moderators Roblox Moderators? No, RDS is their own group on Roblox, much like Roblox Anti-Exploit (RAE).
Why can’t we just use our own admins to deal with the exploiters? As a person who is called upon every thirty minutes to respond to an exploiter, I would gladly take all the help I can get. Also, the RDS system has many features specially designed for catching exploiters that our current admin script doesn’t have, this is why a moderator is trained so meticulously so that they can use all of the features in RDS to catch the exploiter.
Does Tsunami Sushi have anything to do with RDS? Nope, Roblox Developer Services is their own group that was created a while back to assist many games in their troubles with exploiters. (I’m not even a moderator nor do I have anything to do with RDS.) Tsunami Sushi just uses their amazing product and that's it. (For right now)
Why did we add RDS to Tsunami Sushi? As I said before, every thirty minutes a new exploiter would appear and we would be called, and called, and called to come in and get rid of them or shutdown the server. Besides, a majority of the time the exploiter was able to get away. So, we added RDS to the game to help us with our exploiter problems.
Can I become a moderator? You’re welcome to try, but beware, they are very selective! Their group link is: http://www.roblox.com/Groups/Group.aspx?gid=2580593
How do I use RDS? Whenever you believe someone/something is an exploiter or an exploit, just click the RDS logo in the lower right corner of the game. Then, click “Call for Moderator” button. After that, fill in the details of the exploit into the box labeled “Call Description” and select a player if the details apply to them. But, it is not required for you to select a player, and, finally, press the Submit button. If you want to exit out of the RDS gui just click the logo again.
NOTICE: Do not make fake calls! If you do you will be punished! Remember to treat the moderator with respect, we are privileged to have them assist us and you should be grateful for what they are doing.
