The United States Secret Service Handbook. [MARKED FOR PUBLIC VIEWING] ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ All Secret Service agents are required to read the handbook before performing any tasks as Secret Service. You have been warned, failure to follow the Secret Service Regulations will result in immediate exile. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [X] Contents [1] Introduction to the United States Secret Service [2] Code of Conduct [3] How to Join the United States Secret Service [4] White House Emergency Procedures [5] White House Lockdown Policy [6] Training's [7] Communications ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ■ [1] Introduction to the United States Secret Service The United States Secret Service for ThomasJamesWhitmore's USA is comprised of the most skilled people to ensure the highest level of security for our leaders. We as a department enforce our rules strictly to keep out any persons who could be a potential security threat. The Secret Service mainly operate at the White House, Washington, DC and are the brick wall in between the gates and VIPs. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ■ [2] Code of Conduct
> Constant Silence
While you are on the Secret Service team you are expected to remain silent at all times. This is enforced as talking can distract you from your duties and may turn out to become a security issue. However, you may speak in some exceptions listed below: - You are communicating with a VIP. (Eg. President, Vice President) - You are communicating with a superior. - You are asking someone to leave the area. - You are requesting information from a witness. - You are in a life or death situation.
The Secret Service may not speak on the global channel of the Radio systems. You are to only use the private "SS Channel" while on duty. The only exception is if you have permission from a Chief of Staff + or in a absolute emergency. (Eg. Presidential Assassination) > Communicating with a VIP or superior.
To upkeep professionalism in the department we expect all of our agents to address VIP's or superiors in a certain manor. Example: President: Good Morning, Mr President. Vice President: Good Morning, Mr Vice President. Director: Good Morning, Sir. The President or Vice President may allow you to call them by another name. However, in public you must address them professionally.
> Leaving White House Grounds
From here on out leaving White House Grounds without permission from the Director or Deputy Director will result in immediate exile or suspension. Exceptions: -PDD or VPPD and a VIP is outside of the White House. -Chief Commander +
We cannot stress the importance of this rule enough.
> Grammar
Grammar is extremely important as it shows professionalism and in some cases skill. While on duty grammar must be used at all times.
We may be forgiving for common mistakes and typos. However, if you fail to maintain a 90% positive grammar average you will be removed of all duties.
> Perimeter checks (PC's) I can't stress the importance on keeping the perimeter secure. The perimeter fence is our first line of defense and we don't want it being breached. This is why we have implemented a Perimeter check to ensure our agents have constant knowledge of their surroundings.
Uniform Division officers have been set the task of "PC's" and will be expected to perform a check every 5 minutes.
Failure to upkeep perimeter checks will result in suspension/exile.
> Travelling with VIP's
Our main source of transport for VIP's is using the "Beast" and the Secret Service SUV's. However, we also tend to use Marine one for large distance travel. If a convoy is underway we have a "Safe to travel policy" which is as followed: - The beast must be in the center. - We must have at least 2 SUV's in the convoy. - We must have at least 4 bikers surrounding the convoy. We also have some basic travel rules: - Stick to the roads - Use lights and sirens - Drive at a steady pace or in sync with the other vehicles. > Uniform These Uniforms must be worn at all times at DC, unless given permission from the Deputy Director or the Director. From there, you need a realistic body color, I don't want to see pink, blue, green, red, ect. You must have a proper face on. This is important - if you cannot look good, you are not SS. You may only wear hats that represent someone in real life. No stupid hats, Please.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ■[3] How to Join the Secret Service?
The only way to get into the United States Secret Service is going to a tryout or being invited by the Director. After passing the tryout stages you must go onto a training course to train you for active duty.
Asking to enter the Secret Service will result in blacklist. You have been warned! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ■[4] White House Emergency Procedures An important part of the Secret Service is protecting and maintaining the security of the White House. So as we do not have to go into lock down, it is important we take the necessary steps to prevent this.
- Agents should do perimeter checks and maintain the general welfare of the perimeter of the White House. They may search Visitors inside of the White House at any time - and if they refuse, they may be kicked out.
- Do not allow anyone to enter the White House Grounds without screening them through the metal detectors first. You have the power to deny anyone access to the White House or ask them to leave at any time. Lethal force is authorized.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ■[5] White House Lock down Policy - Only administrators may activate the Stand fast systems.
This is the highly dangerous "DEAD" state for the White House. This means a threat is underway that is major, i.e: several armed personnel have breached the White House. This immediately blocks off any entrances to the White House and also initiates road blocks. Ensure any VIPs are inside before locking them out. If you do initiate, you may still move from the Oval Office or the VIPs indoor location straight to the bunker with safety (unless the threat is already inside the WH). VIPs must be sent to the bunker. Several SS should guard the bunker doors, while several stay inside with the President. Any secretaries and/or advisers should be inside with the President. A podium is included in the bunker, so if the Press Secretary would like to make a statement to a small crowd, he may do so inside the bunker.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ■[6] Training
To upkeep the skill level required in the United States Secret Service we hold 1/2 tryouts a week which will be mandatory to all agents below Deputy Director. Failure to attend a training without prior notice will result in suspension.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ■[7] Communications
The USSS uses Skype Technology to communicate with it's agents. If you do not have Skype don't bother joining. Our Skype chats conversations are classified to the public.
Only SS Personal at the rankAgents + are allowed in the chat. Trainees are not considered Secret Service. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
