why aren't there as much sub-forums as we currently need
it's a weird question but many people have been asking over on the help/suggestions forum including myself have been asking for there to be a forum created for the purpose of talking about math/science/technology, and the many requests have gone unanswered.
What's the big problem with creating such a sub-forum? I don't see the harm in having a place where people can talk about productive things as opposed to counter-productive topics on the club houses forums

@havemeat
roblox gets enough money to have not as experienced moderators leak into here and start misinterpreting rules and acting in a way that normal RT mods would.
I don't think outsourced minimum wage workers are that big an issue.

I've tried doing that and it didn't go very far because the people on this community don't come here to discuss math but rather dumb things

Quite a lot actually, since I got a considerable amount of support when I proposed the idea over at help/suggestions

let me tell you how that would go like 99% of people on there would literally copy and paste their homework questions down and 1 % would either help or troll. |

| I'm 100% confident in your statistics and in no way feel that you carry confirmation bias, why would anyone on the internet be biased? |

see i can tell you're being extremely cringey and sarcastic and i just want you to know it's painful to watch + not effective if i agreed with your suggestion i would've supported it. since i don't, im giving you reasons as to why that's so i have a lot of experience with help related subforums and im simply giving my 2 cents

You can discuss many of these things on RT. So, I don't really see the problem.

You have experience with specific subforums and people who lurk on there because the only availabke objective is to do exactly what you expect. The reason why there aren't many people on the forums currently who are willing to talk about math and science is because they've been forced to degrade into a community which values stupidity and frowns down upon people who want to discuss such topics that I do.
I can tell you from experience and conducting RANDOMLY SAMPLED SURVEYS, I was able to find that there is a large number of people who would be active on such a forum, had it existed. |
