Please read all of these forums (if you do not wish to read them, please at least scan over them to get the basic information you will need), as they pertain to things you will be doing in TRP whenever you patrol or go to trainings.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Article B: Section B.1 [Conduct for URs, MRs, and LRs]: - Do not wear an incorrect uniform for your rank (LRs have an LR uniform, MR for MR). - The Cadet rank is a “learning rank” and will hold no major responsibilities but to go to trainings. - You must be mature when at trainings or other TRP events, or you will be punished accordingly. - Trainings/Division Tryouts/Promotions are NOT to be asked for in any way, shape, or form. - When talking to HR+, address them as “Sir” or “Ma’am”. If you do not know which one to address them by, ask. - Arguments on the TRP wall are not permitted. They block out other information and create contention. If possible, work it out in a PM or not at all. - Don’t advertise on the TRP wall or in game for anything at all, except elections, speeches, etc. FreeLand advertisements are not permitted either. - Respect those who achieve promotions and positions; do not complain about them. - Do not talk back or post offensive comments towards an HR+ or a group of HR+. (For example, complaining on how a trainer does a horrible job). - No asking for tests, no cheating on said tests, nor should you lie about passing that test. - When attending meetings, you must be in uniform or official TRP formal attire. - Do not stalk/follow HR+ for promotions or anything else related to TRP. If they are not at a TRP place, they are off duty. - Do not private message an HR+ for a training or a promotion. If you do so you will be likely punished. Also, do not PM a high rank to rush a promotion. CS’s do not have any promotion power. They must PM their promotion list(s) to their assigned AC. High ranks do have lives, so wait 0-48 hours for a promotion. If you are not promoted within 0-48 hours, then contact the trainer of the training that you had attended. - If you have left the group and rejoined, you will NOT get your rank back. This rule goes for MRs and LRs both, as it is hard to prove when the time left was. - Once an Officer+, you are eligible to get your licence to drive the police vehicles.
Section B.2 [Conduct for HR ranks]: - Pledge: I, (Insert Username Here), do hereby promise to uphold these rules, aid in the upkeep of this group, act mature and responsible, and answer to whenever I am needed for this group. - HR+ (CS+) have 24 hours to return to the group if they want their rank back. Any more than 24 will result in having to start over. - CS+ are the ones to host trainings. - Super’s may co-host as CS+ trainings, Commander+ can co-host AC+ trainings only. - HR+ are to act mature, respect everyone, and set an example. - HR+ must enforce the rules and guidelines, and give out the appropriate punishment for a violation of a rule/guideline. - HR+ must stay active, or risk demotion. - CS’s must host once a week, AC’s must host twice a month, SAC+ must host once a month. - If you cannot host your set amount, please give an AC+ an inactivity note. - HR+ must also follow the rules/guidelines displayed, nobody is above the rules/guidelines. - All meetings must have advance notice of an hour unless titled urgent by an SAC+. - CS+ must have Trello. - HC+ must have Raidcall. - AC+ cannot give a ridiculous or biased suspension. If so, it will be investigated and punished accordingly. - Music is only permitted in Meeting center unless DC+ says otherwise. - If it is discovered you are going after another HR/HC’s rank, you will be automatically demoted. - Only use admin commands that are beneficial to the training, patrol, or meeting. If it is malicious and/or neutral and does nothing for the training, do not use that command.
Section B.3 [Other]: - Writing things on Social Media about TRP (or involving TRP) can get you in trouble. - Any crime committed off duty is punishable in TRP. - All members must wear the correct uniform. - Members must attend trainings. - Members must patrol. - Members must attend important meetings. - The previous three guidelines are only a suggestion, but they will keep you active in the group, therefore you will get a higher rank by attending. - No spamming the wall. - No arguing on the wall. - If you can not afford the official TRP uniform, you must wear navy blue torso/arms, and black legs. - When a memorial cover is needed, you must wear it with your uniform to any TRC place. - Respect the Chain of Command. (Refer to Article E) - There will be an automatic reform of Commanders at 75.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Article C: Section C.1 [Patrol Conduct]: - Correct uniforms are required while on duty. - All TRP officers must act mature on duty. (Ex. saying stupid things, acting goofy, being an annoyance are prohibited.) - All officers must respect citizens and their rights. (Refer to the Bill of Rights) - All TRP Officers must respect the other departments that operate in the cities. - Officers must abide by all ROBLOX rules while patrolling. - Abuse of weapons is intolerable and will result in a suspension. - All officers will use police codes while on duty. (Refer to Article A, Police Codes Forum) - Any proof for a suspension shall be reported to an Assistant Commissioner +. - TRP Cadets are not allowed to patrol in the cities, they must train first. - Unit Numbers cannot be any longer than 1 letter and 4 Numbers (M102 is reserved) (MD102).
Section C.2 [Pulling Citizens Over]: - A traffic stop must have reasoning behind it. - Officers must respect those they pull over, unless they become hostile. - x2 lights are to be used when doing a basic traffic stop. - x4 lights are to be used when doing a High Risk Stop. - Take down lights (the brighter headlights) are only for lighting up a scene and High Risk Stops. - If the offence is large enough, it may require an arrest. When you arrest, remember to tell the citizen their rights.
Section C.3 [Rank Weaponry and Privileges]: - Officer+ Will have a radio, pepper spray, and a baton in the cities. - Sergeant Major+ Will be given a Glock22, a Taser, and the ability to frisk using the handcuffs in the cities - Captain+ will have the M14 and the ability to imprison in the cities. - Superintendent+ will have the M4A1 in the cities.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Article D: Section D.1 [Training Conduct]: - Trainees shall not disobey any of the rules listed in other articles. - Trainings are to be controlled. No fooling around or doing things contrary to the Basic Conduct of TRP. - Follow what the trainer says. - If the trainer makes rules for those trainings, you must follow those rules as you would these. - Cadets can attend regular/cadet trainings to get ranked up to Officer. - Do not whine or complain about the amount of promotions, or lack thereof. - Trainings are open to all. Including HRs. If you are a Superintendent or CS, you are required to participate if you are not hosting or co-hosting. - The types of trainings are: Weapons/Facility/Center (Normal), Cadet, and MR. MR trainings may only be hosted by AC+.
Section D.2 [Ranks, Promotions, and How to Rank Up]: - Officer to Lieutenant must attend normal trainings to get promoted to their next rank. - Lieutenants must go through a middle rank test to see if they are ready for Captain. - Captains to Commanders must go to trainings with an AC+ in attendance to be promoted to the next rank. - Commander to Superintendent; commander must be recommended by an AC+. After that, the Commissioner must accept you to become a Superintendent. - Superintendent to Chief Superintendent; To become a Chief Superintendent you must get a 2/3 vote from the SACs.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Article E: Section E.1 [Chain of Command] - Our rank type includes [C] - Commissioner, [DC] - Deputy Commissioner, [HC] High Command, [HR]- High Ranks, [MR] - Middle Rank, [LR]- Low Rank, and [UR] - Under Rank. - You should know what rank type you are, from the abbreviation (ex. “[LR] Corporal” means you are a Low Rank, and within that rank type, you are a Corporal). - TRP’s Chain of Command goes as follows: [C] is above [DC], [DC] is above [HC], [HC] is above [HR], [HR] is above [MR], [MR] is above [LR], and [LR] is above [UR]. - This means unless you are the Commissioner, you are always taking commands from someone. Know your spot in the Chain of Command. - Do not order around someone higher up in the CoC. - Assistant Commissioners hold no type of rank command (i.e. 6iC, 7iC, etc.). - Within the rank types, there are ranks. This also determines who you are over (in terms of rank, at least). For instance, an [MR] Commander is above an [MR] Captain. Even though they are the same rank type, the Commander is above the Captain.
Section E.2 [HR Requirements/Abilities]: - Superintendents may co-host CS+ trainings. Commanders may co-host at AC+ trainings. - HC+ may punish people who violate the rules. - The Commissioner holds all right to review and change anything related to TRP even when something else has been decided. - SAC+ has the right to review any issue regarding TRP punishments, suspensions, demotions, etc. - AC+ may host meetings unless that privilege is revoked. - The rules may be changed at any time by an AC+, but must be voted in by majority by the HCs. - Important meetings can only be called by 3iC+ and agreed on by an HC vote. By important, this means major changes to TRP, retirement announcements, etc. - AC+ may host HR meetings.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Section G: Section G.1 [Punishments & Evidence]: - If you PM a CS+ about a promotion before the 48 hours is up, your promotion may be taken away. - If you ask for a training, an AC+ can suspend or demote you. - Any abuse of weaponry will result in an automatic suspension and demotion. - Violation of any rule will also result in a suspension, demotion, or (if bad enough) exilation. - Evidence for a suspension or demotion is only considered valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise by a HC+. - Witnesses (except for HC+) will not count for valid proof. Only documented proof such as screenshots and videos are valid.
Section G.2 [Results of a Suspension/Demotion]: - If you are suspended, you should receive a PM about it. If not, check your settings. It will also be marked on the TRP Trello. - Members wearing an incorrect uniform will be suspended if they refuse to take it off and wear the correct uniform. - If an Officer of TRP is suspended for whatever reason that violates our Rules & Guidelines, he or she will be demoted back to cadet so they can be retaught in a specialized Cadet Training on how to be a proper TRC Officer. - If an MR is suspended and it is approved by an SAC of TRP, he or she will be demoted to Captain. - If a Captain has been suspended more than once it is possible for he or she to be demoted down to LR again. - If a CS gets suspended (for reasons that go against R&G) it is an automatic demotion to Superintendent. - If a CS is demoted, they lose the ability to become a CS again for 30 days after the day they were demoted. - If a Superintendent is suspended they cannot become a CS for at least 45 days after the day they were suspended. - If a Superintendent is suspended more than once in a 90 day period he or she will be demoted to Commander.
