So hi there, since many years back I have had this idea in mind. It was originally one of my two ideas for how to deal with Acera's "peace times". But since Acera isn't happening the idea could be used for something more public. Now I am curious about your thoughts on this and if you have any suggestions then I'm all ears.
Reminder: Do keep in mind that this may or may not happen, it is an idea I've long wanted to do but it wouldn't be my top priority and the people I'd be working with will have to do a bit of studying on AIs and do many versions until we actually end up with a working version that we could use for this project.
The idea: A "clan" base entirely run by smart AIs. These AIs will serve as 24/7 active defenders and will actively fight you for control over the objective. Will most likely be able to interact with each other and work as a squad. The AIs will have certain points that are "main focus points", basically being where they will push the hardest to protect and attack if captured. Thinking about making it so that if you aren't noticed somehow the AIs won't engage you, so a sneaky attack to begin with can be done to give you a bit of a headstart (but no promises). The AIs will be using the environment to their benefit, which means no just "heads on" rushing AIs, that's dumb AIs, no dumb AIs allowed. We'd include some sort of a leaderboard as well, where you and your friends can compete against other raiding parties for who can defeat the AIs in the lowest amount of time/most kills/most wins and so on.

I forgot to mention, VIP servers would be available for a cheap price so you can get your friends and clan members together and raid together.

it's be fun if there was like an army of 30 ai's that when died, respawned the same as raiders do and have random pathing to where the objectives are that'd be cool |

That is the point, basically just imagine your average 15v15 (example) clan battle, then you change the 15 defending players to 15 defending AIs instead.

it's not too difficult for pathing, just time consuming hardest part is getting them to use weapons fun part would making them spawn with random hats with the clan uniform on XD |

I would do most of the building, scripting would be done by Ravenshield and hopefully with help from BAUER102, GUIs by Stuntman007 and finally clothes by Diglet8.
So ye, we're set.

| Besides what I said about the scripting, seems like a pretty fun idea, but it'd be cool if the raiders/clan could set the difficulty of the bots. |

You'll have to add variables for aiming, or they'll be unstoppable. 100% accuracy is pretty damn hard to beat.
We'll borrow your scripters if you ever don't need them :c |

Probably will just make it so that they aim within a certain distance of the player, imagine their aim as a circle and they'll aim anywhere in there, then throw in the recoil of the gun and we're all set.

Maybe I should make a thread sometime where I write down everything we had planned for Acera and what was considered but ultimately scrapped for whatever reasons we had at the time.
Possibly someone can learn from it or take some ideas.
