Think about it, anyone could sell a model that THEY'VE MADE THEMSELVES. this would allow for a whole new way for developers to earn Robux!
most model Dev's sell their models via selling a shirt, making the model free, letting the person take it, then reseting the models settings.
I guess, I don't see the downside to this. |

bro I would be rich... I don't think its right to pay for models... They would just end up getting leaked and the original maker loses money.

| There would be privacy measures for this, a whole separate tab in-game for " Purchased Models" that wouldn't allow you to save/edit the model. |

Ok, and what if something like that happens? the developer would still make money instead of just giving it out for free. |

| Not to mention the players who legitimately want to support the developer of the models, they'd pay just to support them. |

There's plenty of people like that, now tell me. what would be the downside to the sale of models? |

| Those reasons don't seem to be too legitimate, even if the models where to somehow get copied ( which would be really difficult) it's no different than how models aready get copied 300x over every day, but with better security measures, and legitimate sales for the models, this could be something really good. |

Can you elaborate with better security measures?

| Lets say you purchase a model, you can insert it into your game now, as much as you'd like, the file for the model isn't going to be saved on your computer, so there's no way for you to acsess/save the model, nor will you be allowed to edit purchased models or save them as your own. |

| And this shouldn't be something that wipes free models off of the map, free models could still be a thing, Payed models could just be a separate tab. |

You copy the contents of the original into a new model in studio then publish it.
What now

| There are many ways I can think of that would exploit that. |

Well then elaborate! I'm completely open to hear the flaws that'd go along with this :) |

Let me get this straight, the model I use in game won't save in my inventory? So why cant I just save the section I have highlight in my inventory?

@XILostINSpaceIX
I'm assuming you're under the assumption that saving a link is the same as saving a model? |

| No support because having models doesn't benefit the player, so there would be no need to spend money on them. |
