It's all targeted for teens. The community is cancer, full of over emotional, depressed emo kids. And the music is terrible. The only decent ones I can think of are "Of Mice and Men", "All Time Low", and "Bring Me The Horizon." I'm just gonna stick to rap... |

| Eh tbh, your right and wrong at the same time. It really depends on who your talking about. If your talking about bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic, and Green Day, your pretty off the mark. That stuff is pop punk, mainly adding pop elements to a mainly rock sound that honestly is fun and thought provoking at the same time (Not to say any of these guys haven't written dumb pop songs, "Victorious" and "Uma Thurman" come to mind). But there are bands like Simple Plan and a lot of really early emo music. Once stuff like Fall Out Boy and MCR and Panic came out it really improved as a genre. Yeah we don't really have that big rock anthem like "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (No were NEAR the best Nirvana song, that goes to "Lithium" "R@pe Me" or "Polly") or like the greats like Led Zeppelins "Kashmir" or "Bohemian Rhapsody" By Queen or "Final Countdown" By Europe. But the mid 2000's had there fair share of anthems. "Blow Me Away" "Animal I Have Become" and "Bring Me To Life" all come to mind. But we haven't had our big rock frontman, no Kurt Cobain, or Freddy Mercury. No Jimmy Page, and honestly the rock genre is dying. But it's not due to it being over emotional, its because it isn't hitting the mainstream, and its sad. Oh and sticking to rap isn't really the answer. I mean right now they have a few jems like Kendrick Lamar, older Drake, and a few others. But in all honesty the rap world is filled with ghost writing, feuds based on dumb things, auto tune, and very similar things that plague rock. If Rock is over emotional, Rap is under emotional. |

Never said I was a OM&M or BMTH fan. I just said that they're the only few "teen pop punk" bands I can listen to. The rest are just obnoxious and annoying and the fanbase makes me sick. |

| Ben some scene core is good if its done well. Some of its BOTDF (oh god that picture of someone with Blood on the dance floor on there wall, kill me, I AM SICK OF RUNNIN, SICK OF RUNNIN! SICK OF RUNNENENEN THE HUMAN RACE! THE HUMAN RACE!). But yeah, FOB is good, PATD is good, from what I have heard of MCR there good, Weezer is cool. Most scene stuff thats in the pop punk vein is usually pretty cool, cause it mix's fun poppy stuff with well written rock lyrics and instrumentals. |

| But if the pop elements are too overdone (like on some of PATD and FOB's newest stuff, even tho they weren't horrid or anything both had some pretty good songs). I think if you want to go the poppies route go the route of the albums "Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die" by PATD and "Save Rock and Roll" by Fall Out Boy. If you want to go the more rock way, one study the hell out of Green Day. Just a very good chunk of there discography up until 21st Century Breakdown (the trilogy can eat a diek). Two go the vein of "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" By PATD and "From Under The Cork Tree" By Fall Out Boy. |

| No they are not, they have made bad music (that fuqin trilogy comes to mind). But there sound in general really encompasses whats so great about pop punk, it's catchy but heavy hitting at the same time. And I love the vocalists style. Green Day is a pillar of Pop Punk. |
