Any type is fine, but I mainly want it to be tips on how to make a good post, not too long- not too short, something that your buddy friend can keep up with without said friend getting tired of the lengthy posts or small posts, or just..posts that don't contribute to anything.
Wow, that is weird writing. Eh. You guys got it...I'm pretty sure. |

A post is a post. A story is a story. YOU decide how much you want to write, whether it's a large amount or a small amount. Anyone who skips reading a (non-trolling) post based on its length is absurd. |

Envision how the final product would look. Is it just the right length? Would it be lively and...not dead-looking?
"Oh my god, they killed Kusanagi!" "YOU BASTARDS!" |

Basically, put yourself in the shoes of your character if you are talking about a situation where your character does something. What would he/she feel like? What would they think about? Are they angry, sad, whatever, what are their emotions? What do they want to do. so on, so forth.
Describing something, well... you don't describe it in detail so much, just detail it so they will get a rough idea of what it looks like. That means no measurements. The less measurements, the better. Compare the features to something. What does it look like? Tiny? Big? Elegant? What do you think that object is for? E.g. "Certainly for a gentleman, not for a beggar or something."
Also, paragraphs. Don't turn it into the Great Wall of Text. Anything more than 10 lines is too wall-of-text-y. Also, paragraphs are best used to separate things. For example, your thoughts can be one paragraph, what you do after those thoughts can be another paragraph.
Well, that's all my advices/tips. I think this wasn't what you had in mind. Well, whatevs. Cya l8r. |

| Don't forget to read it aloud before you post. |
