scripting is an insanely wide skill - you need to say what you want scripted.
Guns, GUI, AI, all requires slightly different skill, time, and effort.
But yes I can script. |

There's a reason most people use popular gun scripts. Custom guns often take longer, work less consistently, and are overall worse.
Go use wArc or something. I can't do that crap lol. |

There's no such thing as a custom gun, Eggs. All guns use raycast, even ones that look like projectile use raycast to position the bricks. They're all almost exactly the same, the only variation is the GUIs and Ammo and stuff like that.

You're trying to be a literal smart ass but doing so bad. There's more to a gun than just the raycast - look into RCL and wArc and any other gun and the scripting is VERY different. They all use raycast, usually, but the scripting, how it works, varies amazingly - spread, is there recoil? Reloading, GUI? Crouching? Is there a scope? All insanely different scripting.
Don't be a smartass if you're a dumbass. Yes, the only variation is the "GUIs and Ammo and stuff", but that "stuff" makes up 90% of the gun, so it's ignorant to take the one constant of the guns and claim because they all use that constant they are not custom.
It's like claiming no roblox games are original due to being on roblox. |

@Qivr Pretty sure we had guns that relied on BodyMovers before user created raycasting.

@Qivr The problem with the current clan community is that many people are reluctant to change and don't have fun on this site as they used to now that they've grown up. If you look at Modern/WW2/Colonial groups, they all use guns that are used in 3rd person, those are the members that have the most fun. Unfortunately those groups never have good tech and rely on free modeled guns.
I could be wrong, but I believe the first guns used BodyMovers to counteract gravity and then just pushed the bullet object into the direction of the mouse. |

The only difference between RCL and wArc is the overheating/battery life vs clip and unlimited ammo They both don't have sprinting (or maybe the new wArc weapons do, wouldn't know), both use raycast, both don't use FPS or crouching or anything, etc

^ You've obviously never looked inside and comprehensibly worked with any of these scripts to ignore my points about internal scripting and talk about general features. Also in general an irrelevant comment to my point.
You apparently think the fact there's no clans that use certain features, or that they don't exist, that it apparently means no guns are custom, you really confuse me. |

I've scripted a gun, and it was extremely easy. I had spread, I had ammo, I had crouch/sprint, umm.. I think that's about it. I don't think I've seen a lot more customization in a gun within clans other than maybe a flashlight on a gun, lol.
