is the most biggest misconception made ever.
It's actually good to sleep after you hit your head, and most of the time you feel tired for a reason; your body needs to heal itself.
Unless you have a headache, your dizzy, or you're feeling pain in your temples, then that's when you need the hospital.
I am evidence.

You're only not supposed to sleep after you have a concussion.

| I listened to Nyan cat for 8 hours straight once and I couldn't sleep because I could still hear that god damn sound for hours afterward. |

"You're only not supposed to sleep after you have a concussion."
Really? I was told by my father that going to sleep after injuring your head is unsafe because you could have popped a blood vessel without knowing.
He took a paramedics class before, idk

Well, you SHOULDN'T, but the risk is really low for that kind of thing. Concussions are what you should really stay awake for. You can have a seizure and go into a coma.

not really, If you have a concussion there are some cases where they induce sleeping to calm the patient down. Most cases, you shouldn't sleep, but you have the same likelihood of passing when conscious with a concussion than you do when unconscious or sleeping.

Induced sleep is different than natural sleep.
